Okay I tried bending it back but it does not stay down, I take it the wee hook just stop it over rotating as they do not line up with anything

Finally got an ETA to dealer of 9th October. Guessing a couple of weeks for PDI? FTKd in January!

Likewise.
I saw it mentioned on here a few pages back that it's meant to fold back 180 to fill the gap, except it doesn't seem to be heavy enough to stay flat. It just flips back again. Can hear it slapping about when going over speed bumps.

Try folding it flat on a really hot day when the car interior is 40 degrees plus and you will find it eventually lays and stays flat.

I’ve just set a reminder in my phone to go off sometime in July next year. Can’t wait to get it laid flat...

If it's anything like this "summer", you'll be lucky.

Delivery day for me tomorrow. Bye Bye S4.
Coincidentally - yesterday I was working at a customer site about 300 yards away from the supplying Volvo dealer (Stoneacre Lincoln), and I thought I'd have a look round for mine.
Couldn't find the car with the right Reg number, but there were loads ready to go as you'd expect at the start of a new Reg change.
I know, sad, weirdo etc.
Farewell blast on the way home with the S4 was fun... However brilliant the S90 is at what it does, I'm going to miss the S4. cry

Had my 3-month inspection this morning. Unsurprisingly, everything was fine. Sending me a video showing the tread and pad depth at 1600 miles seems a little pointless but they gave it a good clean and the dealership had some nice pastries coffee

Just had mine collected at the end of my 18 month lease - v90 D4 r-design.

Be careful with those alloys. Was just told £90 a corner for a refurb!!! I was stung with 2 but I am quibbling the level of damage / cost as very, very minimal.

I liked it but didn't love it. I would have another but would be keen for a little more power and better suspension - maybe an Inscription. Although pick up a new X5 next week...

Mine was clean on the outside but grubby and scuffed with foot marks inside. Rubbish dealer experience.

After an S4 I hope you have set your expectations low for the Volvo. I have done a few thousand miles in mine now and whilst it has all the right ingredients (except being 2 cylinders short of what it needs) everything is a bit 7/10 and could work just a bit better. I don't dislike it I just feel it lacks development.

How long did it take to do? Take it you just waited in the dealers? Just clicked over 3 month in mine but not sure when I’d be able to fit it in and wait around for it doing. Would probably have to take half day holiday or try sort it for a weekend.

Having had one, I wouldn't bother unless you know the dealer is decent. Was a waste of time for me, nothing is going to be wrong with the car and I waited 45 mins for them to 'wash' and 'vacuum' the car.

When I went out to take the car away it had been given a quick going over with the pressure washer and nothing more. Couldn't be fked going back in but should have complained in hindsight, had already wasted enough time.

Feel exactly the same about ours. It is superficially great, but under the surface not quite at the level of its competition.

I really wouldn’t take time off or time out of your weekend for it. It seems to be completely optional (the supplying dealer didn’t even mention it to me) and was nothing more than a quick visual check of an almost new car. There’s a space for a stamp in the service book, but I doubt Santander will care if it’s empty.

There’s a dealership close to work for me. I arrived at 8am, waited there doing some work and scoffing pastries and coffee. Was all done at about 9:15. To their credit they’ve washed it nicely inside and out, I suspect they spent longer cleaning than inspecting. This was the new Reading dealership - I’ve been impressed with them so far.

Anyone have issues with auto wipers. Mine are set to minimum sensitivity and they go when no water on the window, does it a lot. When it rains I put it to max sensitivity as I cannot see out, need to switch wipers from auto. Had auto wipers on Vw, merc, bmw, Audi all worked perfectly. This v90 auto wipers are rotten

I know it's avoiding the issue but you could treat your screen with Rain X regularly so you don't have to use the wipers much?

I have the Gtechniq stuff in the garage for glass so will give that a shot.
