ur did exactly this 6 months after its last service. It's diesel overspilling into the oil during regen. Dealer should be able to sort under warranty by dropping a bit of oil.
Hopefully done under warranty. Otherwise the lease company sent me a cheque for £150 to say sorry for mishandling my personal data so might still be quids in. Witchfinder said:

Is this a thing?
It's a "free health check" and isn't compulsory. I had it done, seemed worthwhile to check for any teething problems. They sent me a lovely video showing that the brake pads and tyres hadn't worn out in 2000 miles

My circumstances changed not long after I took delivery of my V90. Now it looks like I'm going to be 6,000 miles over at the end of the contract. Anyone else has such a big overage, and did you have any problems?
Why should it be a problem? Just pay the XS mileage. My freebie 3 SIM didn't want to play this morning; it said it had a decent signal but no internet access. I wondered if they had a time limit before expiring. Switched the internet connection to my phone then tried the car's modem again and it worked, so apparently not.
That did lead me to see I've used 664MB of data since September last year, so nowhere near troubling the 200MB/month limit. That's using it for the traffic info and updating the apps (but not maps) all year. I've spent roughly 350hrs in the car. So it's not particularly data heavy, if anyone was interested in that.

Thanks that's worth knowing as that will be similar to my usage. That did lead me to see I've used 664MB of data since September last year, so nowhere near troubling the 200MB/month limit. Well, the first issue with mine this morning.
Started car, it was a balmy 7 degrees outside, and infotainment wouldn't boot up. Waited 30 secs and switched car off and on again (1st thing to do with anything IT related!) - nothing including no climate control!. By this time had to set off to drop daughter off at school and then to go to work.
A couple of minutes down the road climate kicked in, then the nav, then radio and finally phone pairing. If it happens again will be off to the dealers...
