Almost certainly 3 inch mid driver and 6.5inch bass driver, but it may be 6 inch. Struggling to find any info online - might have to take the cover off eek
Does this What HiFi B&W review help?

Had a look at that, showing 6.5 inch drive unit in the lower door. Not sure if we can assume the standard driver is the same. The smaller mid driver is both 3 inch and 4 inch for the b&w but I think standard system looks to be using 3 inch.

I've also looked on Volvo parts websites but no mention of sizes. We might actually be able to buy the b&w drive units, say even a pair for lower front doors, leaving the rest as standard. That could be a nice upgrade.
I've also read that the speaker area is wired on the top of the dash, despite having no speaker there. Don't know if there is an actual amp channel at the other end of the wire though.

Try Neil at CliveBrook in Bradford quite a few of us on this thread ordered through him and he was a fair bit cheaper than Stoneacre for me.
Thanks, do you have an email address to hand by any chance? Then I can fire over our exact specs to him.

Cheers

Edit: Nevermind, got it!

You don't get to own leases. Do you mean PCP?

Have you already ordered or is this a new enquiry?

Im looking to get a feel for prices and finding the dealers to be sluggish in getting back to me

No this was ordered in February, but is now at the dealership, however I am not collecting until June.

Just curious as absolutely nobody is returning emails or phone calls which makes me think the deals have vanished for now

Have any of you negotiated anything of note in the last week or two?
All I can see online are T6 CC's which are stock cars

Cheers

I'm not hearing anything back from 2 brokers either. Its getting to the point where I would chase it but I feel I might be falling upon deaf ears.

The only success I've had was in person with Stoneacre at my local dealer after a test drive at the weekend, but they prices they got back to me with are quite a bit above where I was hoping as they are for factory order MY19 cars now. Even the two MY18 Momentums they have in stock are a bit expensive IMO. Amortized I was hoping for a Momentum £300 a month max and R Design Pro £400 a month, looks like I was too optimistic.

Here are the quotes, based on 24 month PCH, £2500 deposit and 9k miles pa.

"Volvo V90 D4 Momentum with metallic paint, seat pack and park assist pilot - £286.04 per month.

Volvo V90 D4 R-Design Pro with premium metallic paint, and xenium pack - £554.23 per month.

We do have 2 model year 18 cars available in the momentum specification- they work out on the same deal - £234.98 per month."

Hope that helps anyone trying to pick one up at the moment, but the deals are too more than I'm willing to pay unfortunately.

Received the car on Monday, love the thing, a huge step up from the 1 series company car I previously had and I'm so glad to be back in a Volvo after owning an s60 for 7 years that never died.

Anyhow, I've had a play around with the features but wanted to ask a couple of things from those who have had the car longer. I have the R-Design v90 D4 with no optional extras.

- I tend to use my phone for google maps navigation, not yet tried the in-built nav - Do I need to do an update of the maps? If so, how easy is this, does it require memory cards or can it be done by connecting to the home wifii whilst car is parked on driveway?

- Does the command system software need updating or should I leave it as it is as it seems to work just fine.

- In the centre double cup holder area (when you slide back the cover) I can see a small logo inside the cup holder area showing an icon of a key emitting a signal - any idea what this is or what it means?

- In comfort mode, I have deselected the stop start option in the command system when you go into the individual driving mode options - however the car still stop starts. Any idea how to override this?

- I remember reading somewhere that you can sign up to some sort of Volvo connect system when you get the car - Is this available to everyone and if so how do I do this?

- Is there a way to change the colour of the instrument dials (rev & speed) when you change to dynamic mode? - Some cars this changes to red automatically so you know you are in a different mode. I know you can change the dials layout and colours overall but was not sure if this was assigned to each driving mode or just a general overall change.

- Are there any other useful features / apps / hidden touches that people have found?

Apologies for the newbie questions, just had very little time to delve deep into everything as I've just been enjoying the comfortable and relaxed drive making excuses to take it out whenever possible.

It is my first ever estate and although it feels enormous in tight areas (coming from a 1 series) it is a great drive and so glad I went for it.
Wife loves the relaxed feel of it and the added comfort, kid falls asleep in it nearly every time he gets in his baby seat and has plenty of space to kick his legs out. The boot is perfect for me as I need to lug around work materials on a daily basis and can throw in the baby buggy whenever we need it.
