i am sure the dealer can retro fit the front parking sensors for same price as factory order
I'm sure they can, but mine is an 18 month agreement, no sense in paying for it.

Posted this in the lease thread (but then thought better of it). Just picked up my T6 CC - great car, leased it without driving it and was a bit worried by some reviews, but it's really has surprised me. Also gets lots of positive attention - which is nice for a change

Pine Grey with blonde interior - 3+23 @ 430 - works out around 21% which was good enough for me.

I’m interested do you have an email contact?
Matt Taylor. I wouldn't bother emailing, you'll have better luck on the phone. 01522 507259.

Be quick as there has been a lot of interest

I replied in the main lease thread but must have been looking at an old screen. Just ordered a T6 CC as well, delivery in June, in Savile Grey with charcoal. I'd have loved the blonde interior but I had to go with what was in stock.

I haven't driven one either but I have fancied a V90 since they were launched; the interiors are lovely and the exterior looks great. So even if it's dull as can be to drive, it won't be a disappointment.

Edit: it might actually be Onyx Black now, not Savile Grey - which is fine with me too. Wonder if I'm chasing someone else who is ordering and being indecisive about colour?

I have a T6 in Savile and Charcoal. I nearly went for a Denim/Blonde car but decided it'd be a pain to keep the setas clean as everyone in our house wears jeans. The interior is a nice place but in hindsight i'd have probably gone with a lighter exterior to contrast with the plastic moldings.

PS - I'm 800 miles in and averaging 23 MPG!!

I regretted the colour I chose for my A6 Allroad for that very reason (and I had free choice with the Audi) - so I hope I don't regret the black. It's a shame the trim round the windows isn't chrome and the aluminium sill covers are optional, but if I wanted flashy I'd have gone for an R Design.

23mpg - I had already worked out that fuel economy doesn't make that much difference over 8-10k miles but having to fill up more regularly is going to be a shock to the system! I got better economy than that from my 2004 BMW 545i Tourings!

The engine feels pretty tight so hopefully things will improve a little. Around town i'm seeing 19-20MPG. The improvement has come from a 300 mile run up to the lakes and back.
Mine is set to Performance mode as it felt a little sluggish in the other settings.

Well you're turbo charged and supercharged smile
That's a nice offset to the not great mpg!

I think it must be that Denim Blue/Blond T6 CC that I’ve signed for this week! Hopefully delaying delivery for 2-3 weeks to dovetail with my Alltrack’s return.

With a cocker spaniel I’m going to have to get some decent seat covers and a boot liner. And watch the jeans like you say. If you’re averaging 23 mpg, it sounds like you’re really enjoying yourself too?

Any early tips to offer please?

Yes - I am also assuming they are the 2018 model not 2019 - so no front parking sensors (as per previous posts on this thread)?
So after arranging delivery date and getting the reg number of the black one, I then got an email saying “Really sorry - I’ve just been informed that these are Irish spec vehicles and they don’t come with electric tailgate or gear shift paddles. Hope this is ok?”

Really f*cking bugged me but could probably make my peace with it, but thought I would try it on and push for discount etc. Got told that they were “only so cheap because they were Irish spec” - which bugged me even more so I decided to check how cheap they really were.

Found Stoneacre Lincoln offering black (UK spec) V90 R Design in stock for £199/month on 9+23 8k p/a with no fees. £15/month more for Winter Pack - exactly same price as Nationwide for the S90.

So have now cancelled the S90 (may be available if anyone’s looking) and got a V90 on order!

Where was yours on order from? Concerned mine from Central Vehicle Leasing will be one of those...

What a nightmare!

Nationwide haven't contacted me.and I doubt they will - presumably this would have been shown on the specs on the website at the time - although I saw no reason at the time to do a comparison between the Volvo configurator online and the Nationwide website specifications.

So - if you look at the Irish website https://www.volvocars.com/ie/build/sedan/s90/r-des... the electric tailgate is a €625 extra and Front park assist €460 (neither standard on the current model in Ireland)

There should have been a note on the description at the point of order that these are Irish spec vehicles - I am disappointed.

I see that your vehicle is back on line with Nationwide - although £100 a month more expensive against the figures I'm paying for the same vehicle in Bright Silver (20K a year,1 + 23, £402 a month) !

Mine is due for delivery Tuesday - not sure what to do.

Mine is with Central, and while I am already disappointed it doesn’t have front parking sensors, if it is an Irish spec I will be cancelling the order.

2018 spec V90 T4 R-Design. Should this come with hands free boot opening?

Well, not quite. It's not a wave your foot under the bumper job, but it is powered after a button push.

Ok, thanks. I presume I would have had to spec keyless for that functionality?

Yes.
