You will really see my ignorance here but is the Geartronic like the DSG , auto with the option to put it in paddle ‘manual’ mode?

Just been reading reviews on the D5, apparently they’re 15mm lower , assuming the D4 isn’t?

Ain’t leasing a funny game, you secure the deal first and read reviews later! Heck I’ve never even seen one in flesh yet.
The R Design is 15mm lower than other trims, not heard that about the D5 vs D4 though. It may well have different suspension components for the AWD?

I've not seen a V90 despite ordering one either! Test drove the S90 and it's a really good looking car. I would have preferred the S as I think it's better looking, but the rear end on the V is nicer.

Just placed an order after seeing the deals advertised here from Neva

V90 D5 Powerpulse AWD R Design in Police spec white wink and winter pack.

6+23 @£333 but 15,000 miles per year.

£9657 over the term, with a p11d value of £45,465 makes that a 21.2% deal which sounds good to me, especially with the mileage.

Coming from a Golf R estate at just slightly less a month, but only 10,000 miles per year. Looking forward to a little more comfort.

You won't be disappointed but I know the other trims are comfier. I ended up hating my R estate because of the comfort. My dog would hide when I got the car keys out!

Great car for what it is. Only driven it 1 mile to the valeter but the interior is a lovely place to be.
Annoying it was filthy and noticed some damage when it was clean.

Complain to supplying dealer, else you'll be paying at return time.

Was the car not clean when you collected it?

They delivered it from Lincoln.
It was raining all morning. It will all be sorted, just a it of a pain. Our Alltrack just came up with a gearbox fault tonight too.
That's supposed to be going back on Wednesday.

Have many on here have taken up full maintenance on their deals? Been offered it for £35 month on 8k per year including tyres on an S90. I’m aware the service schedules seem to dictate two services will be required and they are not exactly cheap so might be worth taking.

These do look good as the v90 d5 I've just ordered looks the same as yours . Osmium grey r design. Do you have any more photos as their website is a bit sparce. Can you still see out through them ok from the inside?

Punched the mango (sorry) on a V90 momentum T4 with osmium met. Paint and winter pack. 3x23 8k, 2018 model year, £37,800k list price. 2019's are out now with a bit more tech stuff so they are getting rid of the old ones.

£885 down
£295 monthly
£320 month amortised works out at 20%

Volvo Chapman in York. Mine was their last one apparently (let me know if they sell you one!)

Delivery in 3 weeks

Had been set on tiguan or karoq/Kodiak but autos were coming in same or more and dealers kept saying they had none left or only higher spec. After looking at the Volvo today the vw group cars feel very cheap in comparison.

Also considered the xc60 but that was coming in at £2k down and about £330 a month on 24 months.

Only option on above car I'd like is CarPlay as I've got used to it with my Golf, is it possible to get a dealer to software upgrade it, web search proving inconclusive? BTW the carshades look good!

Thanks

Yes, a dealer can retrofit it.

Anyone had it retrofitted yet?

What’s the cost?

Is it possible to 'retrofit' without visiting a dealer? biggrin

I've seen there is a native Spotify app for Sensus so as a workaround you could just use your phone as a hotspot and download it to the car. Other than Spotify I've only ever used CarPlay on my Audi to make calls, which the car should be able to do anyway so don't think I'll really miss it.

Is there a way to have your iPhone permanent tethered instead of having to do it each time you start the car?

I do use carplay a lot in the golf. Most BBC iPlayer app and internet radio, good to know I can do it if I miss it.
