anyone know how to turn the lights off on the s60? they come on automatically in my 2005 model
it would be good to turn them off once in a while

i have tried the light switch but they just go to sidelights, main lights .
wen i have the lights turned off, they are on. i know its for a safety reason because in swden the roads wind thru forests, and thus it can be dark on a sunny day in sweden, but i am in the uk, so i want them off

See your local friendly ovlov dealer, who'll relieve you of approx £80 for a couple of seconds plugged into their fancy-schmancy computer to change the DRL settings.

Well worth dealing with a non franchise specalist such as Braydon Motor Coy. Downs Road, London E5.

There is a link to them on my website www.kalmar-union.com

or visit www.volvoclub.org.uk for loads of others.....maybe even join the VOC well worth the £25 or so per year.

Regards Don.Norchi.

thanks for the info Don

however, my car is a company car and i think i am obliged to attend my local volvo dealership in warwick for some reason

the service cost was extortionate because i had to get 4 new tyres, 235 18inch, 130£ a corner

I can vouch for braydon motor company, they're in Hackney. and the sell genuine volvo parts a lot cheaper than the main agents, seems like they know more about volvo's as well!!!!!!!!!

So take the £520 quid off for the tyres, hardly an expensive service for 40k miles through a dealer is it!?

i still think its expensive, 150%£ to change the oil , spark plugs

i know a guy in birmingham who charges me £10 for oil, spark plug change, providing i buy the part myself, which was 15£!

Plus all the filters on top of that, a full inspection of the car to make sure everything is o.k, courtesy car if you need it, would pay more than that to get it done on a Corsa.
