V70 Clutch pedal not completely returning.

The clutch pedal on my V70 is not returning as it did. Its about an inch too low and the first part of the pedal travel feels too light.
Odd thing is I've just replaced the front brake pads and a CV gaiter.
Guess its just a coincidence.

Any ideas?

Its a 2.5 10V (B5252S) approx 125k miles.

Hi

Not an expert but had a V40 with the same problem.

Check the brake fluid level as on the V40 its a hydrolic clutch. Might need some Dot 4 from Halfrauds.

Cheers Jeff...I didn't realise the clutch and brake used the same resovoir.

When I replaced the brake pads some fluid had to be removed. Guess there must be some air in the system.
