I am going to fit a Parrot CK3100 to my 2002 V70 with a HU-603 audio unit fitted.
Has anyone done this fit, how easy and do I need a wiring diagram to complete the task. THe kit comes with a fair amount of wires, but having spoken to Parrot, they have told me to order some ISO cables, so that it can be integrated with the Audio unit.
Any help would be very welcome.

Is that the Dolby unit?

There is an issue with using ordinary ISO "SOT" leads with the Parrot CK3100 ISO kit. The amp has a hissy fit (well actually a big time low frequency buzzing/ticking which can cause it to fail).

You would need an Autoleads 06-043B and the Parrot adapter cable.

If it's not, you can get away with the Volvo "SOT" leads which convert to ISO (and back again).

Completely at a tangent an old boys network request was made for an S60 wiring diagram to investigate quite a small fix on part of the engine electrics.

What eventually came was indeed a manual, the proper job. Trust me you do NOT want to go there, it's about half an inch thick!

More complicated than a very complicated thing on Celebrate "Let's Really Complicate Things" Day. spin

Did we ever ask for this on our cars? On some vehicles it seems as if the whole shooting match is rapidly getting to the stage of being a huge black box that we aren't trusted to do anything beyond put in ever increasingly expensive fuel and oil, the odd other fluids, washers coolant etc and put air in the tyres.

Want to change your lights from RHD to LHD for a continental trip, consult your dealer.
Want to change a bulb that's failed? No longer straightfoward in some cases either.
