Hi All,

Does anyone have any recommendations on where to get a set for a reasonable price?

Discs and pads, front and back: 16” wheels (me thinks).

Thanks!

Gary.

Hi, depends how much you want to spend, I just got a set of fronts for our XC70. I got green stuff pads from EBC direct (www.ebcbrakesdirect.com) for £56.58incl, these are more efficient and produce less dust than std, and I got Brembo discs from GSF(German Swedish French) in Peterborough £85.78incl. 01733 293444. You could get pads as well from GSF and will be a bit cheaper. www.gsfcarparts.com. Hope this helps, cheers.type
Just had a look at the GSF web page and there is a GSF in Northampton call 01604 609080 NN1 2PN.thumbup

Volvo uses ATE brakes, which you can get OEM (excatly the same item from your dealer, just not in a Volvo Parts box) from Euro Car parts.

ATE Front Discs £35.50 + VAT each
Front Pads £16-54 + VAT each side - depending on what pad you choose
ATE Rear Discs £29.55 + VAT each
Rear Pads £12-56 + VAT each side

Or you can use GSF as someone else said, who sell Brembo.

Just noticed that Euro Car Parts now do free shipping - save you time and petrol, or diesel in your case.

Though I prefer to give my money to my local branch, who knows his stuff - keeps him in a job and which keeps the local pubs busy smile

Hi All,

Looks like I will have to do some more investigation - thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

Best regards,
