Coins in the CD slot - XC 90 HELP!!!

One of my little monsters today 'posted' according to the missus "one or more" coins in the slot in the dash for CDs - the 6 disc changer version, on our 2006 XC90. Now none of the 6 CDs plays, and none will eject. Only the tuner will work.

Any ideas how to get to the CD mechanism without destroying the dash, or is this a main dealer only fleecymelotsofmoney project?

Any pointers gratefully received, or any idea of cost to fix if anyone has gone through similar before?

My 3 year old hasn't reached that stage yet although he knows how the CD & DVD players work in the house.
Know a friend who's kids posted toast into the video player and the hamster followed......
Not much help but at least you're not alone.
Suggest take it out the dash and tip it up or remove the cover, and see if there's any change.

However, I have used good independants for this type of stuff - mine was a V70, but guess it is the same issue.
