XC90 - Replacement key

I need a replacement key, (we're down to 1) any advice and suggestions of how much these things cost gratefully received.

I'd say give your dealer a ring first and see what they charge, and then at least you know what you're going to have to pay if you can't get one anywhere else?!

IIRC (I used to sell Volvo many years ago)

XC90 key replacement is not cheap, as you need to order the metal "key" blade, the remote "top" of the key, and then have the remote coded to the car when the car is plugged into the Volvo computers.

Nowadays I'd expect to be quoted somewhere between £150 - £200 + VAT

Hi, not sure if you have sorted this yet but just had the same problem. I was quoted an all-in price of £260 made up of the blade which comes from Sweden (£55) then the fob and the labour to programme the key (and your old one) to the car. Thankfully found the missing key!
