No completely standard.

I guess remappting would up the power but also improve efficiency ?

yes

they respond really well to a stage 1 map, I went for the MTE one in mine well over a year ago now

it has totally transformed the car, much nicer to drive and better Fuel economy by about 4mpg in all situations..also the emissions have been lower on Both MOTs since (the latest one was yesterday) the garage commented on how well my car was running and on the condition in general

I love my old T5

Cheers for that what sort of cost is involved ?

I keep getting in it to go look at other cars and just feel nothing else in that price bracket compares and how nice it is to drive.

Is yours auto or manual ?

the MTE was around £300 and was the best £300 I have ever spent (maybe different £'s for the newer models though, I honestly don't know)

Give Don Norchi a shout, and tell him I sent you..... http://kalmar-union.com/

mine is Auto cloud9 and never ceases to make me smile every time I stretch her legs, she is such a lovely old car

With a 20 mile round trip every day I reacon that you're doing about 5000 miles a year. With that mileage the annual difference between 24mpg and 40mpg is about £400.

So work out how much it'll cost you to change the car, then how many years that it'll take to cost in. Then add a fiddle factor to compensate for how st the Fiesta / Micra will be to drive compared to the Volvo and decide keep the Volvo thumbup

Good decision! I use my T5 for a 25 mile round trip commute everyday and the amount I spend on fuel makes me cringe. But the highlight of the working day is the drive home again - so it kind of makes it worth while. Especially when you think that instead you could be stuck in a slow, cheap, cramped and uncomfortable hatchback for 90 minutes each day

I could be convinced but only if the price was right.biggrin

We just bought another car and the insurance on mine for swmbo is expensive as she only has 1yr no claims so its put a different spin on things.

It's probably the wrong time for me to be buying, my current lease has almost a year left to run but I want to get something before it so I can get it they way I want.

How much are you looking to get for it?

Not a problem bud.

If it's not too much trouble, can you email me some details about it, perhaps a pic or two?

Much appreciated.
