Hey all,

My car started missing, and during Easter I pulled the ignition system off, and found a break in one of the leads.

Picked up some from Euro Car Parts, but I wasn't very impressed with the quality of them (brand is TDC), they didn't fit very well, and to top it off when I started the car up it sounded like a bucked of bolts.....

Checked the resistance of all the leads, and one it a dud.

So they are going back, but do people have ones they recommend, or ones to avoid?

Volvo ones are over 100 quid, but are made by a French company - too dark outside to go and check. Does anyone sell them OEM (sans Volvo box?).

And it is for a 850R. Cheers.

OEM are Bougicord.

For ignition parts I do prefer to use OEM, although Magnecor are a good brand and I have used them in the past.

For a very competitve quote on genuine Volvo parts contact Simon @ FRF Volvo:
