Ages ago I bought a job lot of technic from a facebook group (I know, I know!)

Well finally got around to sorting everything out, printing out instructios etc and I have;

1 x Technic 8421 - big crane, fully complete and nearly built smile
1 x Technic 8460 - small crane, fully complete apart from string
1 x Technic 8285 - large tow truck - sadly a few parts missing... Just ordered everything off ebay and bricklink for £30!

2 x Bionicle men - complete
2 x Bionicle remote control car things - complete

some various space things - not got any instructions and cant really be bothered looking so they can go in my daughters lego box - there is lots of red and she likes red!

So for £100 on the original purchase, £30 on extras and £40 having some manuals printed - I have not doen too badly. Been quite enjoyable sorting and cleaning everything

^^If you get addicted to Lego like you are G-shocks you will soon be broke!

Try it without the stickers, I think it looks x10 better. And an easier resale if required smile

Just had 3 hours on the excavator (8043 ?) and finished book 2.

Looking good and all seems to work by hand. Get some batteries and finish book 3 tomorow night :-)

Yes end of August for me too - no worries as I probably will sit on it for a few months like I do with all the other kits!

No room to hang them - lego has been demoted to the playroom, R2D2 is still on 'her' shelf in the lounge though...

Campervan can go in my office at work, bike and model team car can be broken up - but will the crane fit in that gap...

Think I might have a little problem, just having a tidy about in the loft and I cant believe the amount of NIB kits I have with no real intention of building;
2 x flat beds
2 x R2D2
2 x vw campervans
crawler
special edition crawler
formula one
logging truck
quad bike
motorbike
rescue helicopter
small helicopter
aeroplane
race truck
new crane
new recovery truck

Also got the old big crane, old recovery truck, super cars, full star wars technic figure set, comic hero Bionicles set, Ferrari F1, all my 'childhood' sets and a rather large tamiya collection (build and NIB) up there.

Add that to the crane, unimog, R2D2 and camper van around the house its getting a bit serious!

Might have a clear out... Or check the house insurance!

Wow - £4k! Lucky boy.

Has anyone nade the "ultimate" excavator yet? I have just started collecting the extra parts!

On eurobricks there is a video of a full rc 41999 the new big crane! That might be my next project

Pics of the plane and thoughts on the build are required without delay! Chop chop, man - get on with it! biggrin
Urm im not much of a builder, i have pretty much all rechnic releases from the last 2 years and have maybe built 2 of them!

Promised my eldest to build the simpsons house first, but the plane does look tempting... Another problem is i have 2 tamiya clodbusters on my desk undergoing restoration so not much building room!
