Hmmm, need to see it from some other angles...

Considering it's an angled photo of the box it is not going to show the model in its best light. I'm waiting for the official launch. It should have impressive engineering though, with full suspension, four wheel drive and that W16 engine and a few other things as well.

Those wheels which looked so gloriously big in the teasers do appear dwarfed by the body though. I hope that really is an optical illusion because I’m not currently tempted, sad to say.

Oh dear, how disappointing! It looks like a budget petrol station give away. I’ll wait for the official shots, but based on this i’m not keen.

Here is my two Lego Technic Ferraris. 8647 Ferrari F1 and 8653 Enzo Ferrari, they are mounted on the walls in the staircase. Recently found the Enzo during a house move so cleaned it up and added it next to the F1.

Apologies about the rubbish photo

Looking at the Bugatti again, it reminds me of the tiny miniaturised versions around 4x10 studs or so

I now have the Porsche GT3 RS where the Enzo was. Now where to put the Bugatti when I get it?

That picture inspired me to mount my cars in the same manner, the recent F1 and Le Mans cars. I think I'll need some beefier nails to mount the GT3 though.

I have about 7 mounted like this. I just use string though the chassis and a picture hook on the wall

That's a fair point. The GT3 was great fun to build, but it's looks were not as good as hoped.
I would imagine the Bugatti is going to be similar

I guess there's only so much you can do with Lego without producing a whole ton a unique elements or adding so many parts that building and connecting the body becomes too cumbersome.

How about a side-by-side comparison:

From the A-pillar backwards, I'd say that they've done a pretty reasonable job. The grill, lights and front splitter also look like a decent approximation to the real thing, given the limitations of the available parts. The bonnet looks to be a real dog's dinner though, at least from that angle. Far too many gaps, and it looks as though the front wings are sitting much higher than the centre panel, which doesn't seem to be the case in the actual car. Hopefully it'll look better in the official photos, and from other angles! To be honest I'll probably end up ordering one anyway though... rolleyes

Do we have a confirmed price on this yet? I have seen numbers starting at £400 and heading north but nothing from anyone I would actually send money to.

Rear view leaked too! Faith restored... can’t see paddles behind the steering wheel though, assume it will have a gearbox ?

Now that looks good. Does the spoiler move up and down depending what gear you are in? Could there be a brake pedal that activates the air brake? How do the gears work? So many questions. Roll on 1st June.

Now that looks much better. Will be interesting to see the mechanical bits.
