If anyone has a Fenwicks dept store near them, I was in there yesterday and turns out they have a 20% off Toys thing at the moment, until tomorrow, and it does include lego. I stocked up on a number of Architecture sets that I'm missing (which not many places other than Amazon and the official Lego store sell), but they had all sorts including the big Technic cars and Creator sets.
Their website says it is online as well, but they don't appear to have many sets online. In store at Brent Cross they had tons of sets.

Prices before the discount are akin to RRP or buying direct from lego themselves, so our friends at Jadlam may be cheaper on some items.

Lego Technic 42099 appears to be mis-priced in Argos. £130 with £30 off at the moment
Thanks for that, just ordered it. I had bought it from Amazon on Black Friday for £120, but they screwed the order up and ended up cancelling the order.

First entry in to the thread, I've gone for this to build with my son over Christmas. The last one we did together was the VW Camper, be good to see if Technic is as good as I remember it as a youngster.
I think that set is quite light on the build front compared to some of the others, it's more about the new app function. App itself is supposed to be great though.raceboy said:
I know this is dedicate Lego Forum but cannot justify the price for this Lego model I have built the original for a friend who gave up after the first stage ,was impressed so bought the copy for $88 and cannot see the £200 + difference in the two models don't move it around is in display case. woodysnr said:
