Was you tired?
Funny boy!

I didn’t build it, Tom did this one all on his own!

I was miffed as fancied doing some of it myself, but proud he managed it unassisted.

Been building the Chiron over Christmas after buying it during the Black Friday sales.

Enjoyed the first part of the build doing the engine and gearbox, but it’s a shame the complexity of the gearbox is hidden when the model is complete.

Have to say it’s been a real struggle to get it finished. Normally I can put a fair few hours into a model at one time but with this one I’ve not wanted to do that.

Having same issue with the Chiron, not feeling the love for this build and can see it taking a few weeks. Need something with less engine/gearbox next.

Thought it was just me but I feel the same as you folks. Its over halfway built but losing the love for it. Just want it finished now. As a side note the smaller stickers piss me off as I think at this price point the bricks should be engraved not having to apply stickers.

I have ordered the Defender and it should be with me on monday smile Finished the Liebherr excavator before christmas which was my first technic lego and as I didn't have any batteries I couldn't test it as I was building so was quite relieved when I'd finished and it all worked correctly biggrin

Do push on with the Chiron, it’s a great build, probably my favourite Technic car build. We’ve been busy over Xmas building the Upside Down, London Bus, Hidden Side bus and Star Wars UCS Super Star destroyer.... I will pick up the Batmobile and Defender in the next few weeks, need to get a new Technic build in!

I’ve got only two bags left and I’ve not found the love for it yet. Also not sure where it’s going to live when it’s complete...

Which is the orange car in the photo? My son has just finished the transporter he got for Christmas but as it is his birthday too too I thought another car that would fit on might be nice. Are there others that would fit?

The ZR1 Corvette chap, same size as the Camaro that comes with the set.

It's the Corvette ZR-1:

I haven;t got the Transporter but I think that the scale is the same so the F40 and Beetle should fit as well although the F40 is a retired set:

Great, thanks. That looks perfect. Much cheaper than the Caterham and the Mini too

The Beetle will only fit the top deck, as will the Mini and the VW Camper, the Caterham only just fits the bottom deck!!

Any chance any of you who bought the Defender or Excavator could be as kind to post images of your completed build?

Would like some pics of built cars to help promote the item via SM.

Thanks.
Not the best image, happy to get something better if you would like.

Contemplating parting with some hard earned for the Defender... is it a decent build?

I've got this - it's actually quite a decent build
