So it’s National Lego day today, because it was on this day all those years ago the Lego brick was first patented.

For our various social media feeds we wanted something fun to post related to it.

So took a few photos of Toms Lego Technic off Roader on the bonnet of our defender Big Foot.

Literally can’t believe how many likes and comments it’s generated.

The world really does love Lego!

A Lego Lambo is of course great, but the Sian is probably unknown to most the population.
Without seeing the badge it could be Porsche / Ferrari etc..

A Lego Lambo should be an Iconic Lambo... Countach or Miura please !!!

I will buy a Countach, I wont be buying anything else.

I didn't get a Chiron or Porsche because as models they don't interest me.

But a Countach, that was on my wall as a kid !

And Cannonball run.

Fingers crossed in hope but i'm not holding my breath.

A fast and furious dodge charger in the scale of the recent Ford Mustang would be good too if we are listening Lego.....

Only if it comes with the bird in stockings on the rear wing!

You'd think the Countach was custom made for lego with all the straight lines.

Fond memories, I bet most of us around that age had that poster on our bedrooms walls as a teenager.

It was this one, though I seem to remember it was just a black background?

The Lamborghini is definitely the Sian. Personally I'm more interested in the Technic Ducati as it is getting new front suspension parts and I am curious to see how they make the single sided swingarm.

Surprise delivery today courtesy of a friend (who was on here years ago but not sure if he is anymore). I’m going to frame the box for my retro wall.

Not surprising. I always thought that set looked a little naff.

Having a bit of a clear out and came across the Claas Xerion 5000 that I never got around to building, any suggestions on what it might be worth as a BNIB set?

I had that back in the 80s.

I have it at home, well, instructions and the bits, but no box sadly. I have loads of the early '80's technic stes, but no boxes. frown

We're not allowed to sell stuff directly on the forums, I expect they were deleted for that reason.
