Ah crap.

Looks like I've just ordered the Volvo 6x6 and 'Dom's Charger'

Bloody hell. Still, cheaper than going to the pub!

quick question about the rough terrain crane

i've almost finished book 1, and have noticed that the turntable doesn't currently rotate - should it?

before i put on the circular bits that make up the guide rails, i could rotate it if i removed the small cogwheel outside the large black circular piece

i'm pretty sure i've followed the instructions correctly, but really don't want to finish it, then tear it down again if it is a mistake

many thanks

Ben

Yes it should rotate because the actual crane arm itself will eventually sit on the circular piece.

There is a fix, I had issues with mine as well, so trawl back on this thread & you should find the answer.

Lucky you found out now. I didn’t until I had finished book 2 - a complete strip down was needed!!!!

There is a rumoured Space Shuttle in April too. It's probably a CREATOR set but I'd prefer a re-release of the Technic one from 1996 smile

I've got one of those, unopened smile

Not sure if that’s sad or really dedicated smile

I just put the bag contents into individual Tupperware tubs and go from there.

I sort components by type into small dishes so they're easier to find with each step. smile

Not quite so neatly, but yes I sort out each bag and tend to try and complete a bag in one sitting.

Same. Makes pausing and moving for later easier too.

I just tip each numbered section into a tray and sort through. Its part of the fun fishing through the bits to find what you need.

Same, but bought these for Mrs Bobbers who's a jigsaw fan, thought they were perfect for lego so bought some for myself, and they are really handy as they stack, i do have a couple of deeper cardboard boxes for the larger parts though!!

You don’t have kids and pets do you.... that would last all of 5 mins before it’s knocked and then finding bits is harder.
