I hate to say it, but these halo cars are all the same:

A large gearbox module which is also most of the chassis.

A front suspension module.

A rear suspension module.

And some bodywork.

One of the reviews of this new one even commented that the gearbox is largely the same as the Sian's.

I like the new coil-over suspension units, but that's about it for this one... :/

I'd love to see these models easily modifiable to fit a motor in to be able to drive and use the gearbox properly - I know they can be retrofitted, but it isn't easy...

That’s exactly why I only bought the gt3 rs.
Would rather spend my money on spierpijn different things instead of essentially the same with a different body hiding all the interesting parts.

Yup, and the Ferrari looks crap. If not for the badges I wouldn’t have a clue what it was.

Rubbish choice of Ferrari too. The lambo Sian works despite being an un-iconic model as all lambo’s look the same.

Exactly. I have only the Chiron. 4WD, W16 engine and pop-up spoiler... The Ferrari is 2WD and no spoiler. I thought they'd automate the Targa roof as a new feature?
So, less features and more money vs the Chiron or Sian. Needs to be in a Smyths sale or something before consideration IMV.

Not keen either but I’ll have to get it to match the GT3, Chiron and Sian. I’ll wait though and hopefully pick it up on Amazon or somewhere like that at a reduced price.

It’s really not floating my boat that.

Would need to be in an Amazon flash sale for £200 for it to evenbe considered…..and there’s more interesting stuff coming for less sooooo.

Built the Sian and enjoyed it.

Bought the Chiron but sold it without building as looked on the online instructions and it looked too similar.

I’m Tifosi through and through but this is £350 of ‘Meh’

I think it's clear I have a bit of an addiction to Lego but I don't have any of those three, strangely.

Are lego clutching at straws trying to release lots and lots of "special builds" that actually dont look good as they have rushed them?

I think the suspect looks is because they release then as Technic sets. The Creator Expert vehicles look more realistic in my opinion. I prefer the build of a Technic set but the finished looks of a Creator Expert set.

I'd say that's fair comment.

It would be possible to combine technic and studded parts and get the benefits of both.

With the old studded technic that used to be much more possible.

I know, I had the first Lego Technical sets. As studless is correct for sizes to Duluth with stuffed it would make some nice interesting integration.

00.05am this morning logged on to the Lego website because I wanted the SP3 book.

Sold out!!!!

00.20am. EBay.

First SP3 book listed - £150.00!!

Now there are dozens listed all at stupid prices.

Thanks re-sellers.

Similar experience here frown

Next time I'm on a train into London, I'm tempted to systematically work my way through and offer the RRP to all of them hehe

No one has them yet, they are all "pre-order". In other words they expect it to arrive form Lego and will send it to the ebay winner without reading it.

I managed to get one (at 12.04 ish) which will be added to this shelf -

Although thats already out of date with some extra books added since I took it biggrin
