Who has taken the plunge & dropped £350.00 on the SP3?

If so is it worth the money?

I am tempted - so far I have resisted the temptation too visit my local Lego store (a 75 mile round trip!!!)

Not me; it just doesn't appeal. There are a lot of other Lego sets I'd rather spend £350 on than the Ferrari.

I'd love to, but I'm going to wait until it is reduced like the Bugatti and Lamborghini was.

The Lambo is down to £240 at Argos at the moment...

I've just bought the BMW M 1000 RR (down from £180 to £118).

Also picked up the BMW from Argos this morning so thanks for the heads up on this thread. Should be interesting being 1/5th scale!

It's huge! I saw it built and on display in the Lego shop in Brighton when I went in to get Starry Night. You can just about see it here - I took this pic for my 4 year old nephew when I said I was going there..! hehe

Mine's available for collection now from my local Argos but I'm waiting until they also have the Typewriter I've ordered in stock later this week so I'll pick them both up at the same time.

I built the BMW over the weekend - it’s a really good build, has an overcomplicated gearbox but nice details like brake lines (a first?) and the screen is much better than the Ducati.

Ordered mine from Argos last night. Collected it this morning & was greeted by a battered box & the Argos product code sticker on the front of the box!!!!

Now I’m one of the many (few) who keep the boxes & bags all together. Nothing gets binned.

So after much arguing I got a refund, went too Smyths & saved myself 1p!!!!

Trouble is that Smyths have the Sian on offer at £239.99 & the Space Shuttle at £139.99 so which one do I get?

Worth knowing; any Argos stickers can be easily removed with a heat gun but like you, I keep all the boxes in as pristine condition as I can so I won't accept a box that looks like it's been chucked down a flight of stairs..! Might go and pick mine up from Argos tomorrow on my way home from the office, if the box is knackered then at least I can do as you have and source it from Smyths.

The box I got this morning looked like Gareth Bale had been hitting it with a golf club for an hour!!!

I'm leaning towards the Space Shuttle because it is hard too find anywhere & at £139.99 it's a good price.

The Sian is readily available &, as far as I know, isn't yet scheduled too be discontinued.

Get the shuttle.

I have it and have only opened the box and it's already awesome.

The shuttle is fantastic. Hard to believe what can be created in Lego these days.
