The Ford GT is done, and I really enjoyed it (understand why some here haven’t). Some nice functionality with the doors and rear wing, and some interesting connection techniques. Ok the colour scheme is fairly bland but I wonder if Ford had a hand in this in order to issue the licence. I’d love to see a MOC of the race version!

I’ve also got round to the Material Handler. For a fairly modest price there’s a lot going on here, and pneumatics work well. Nice one.

The Material Handler is great - especially as it's under £80 now, I think.

Looks pretty cool. Not sure how complex though. I've got the old Le Man's racer and Chiron yet to build.
Well this newly released livery for this year's Le Mans buggers up the Peugeot!!!

Well that sealed it for me and also getting it for €132 from Brickmo was a bit of a result.
Will pair nicely with the Le Mans Racer 42039

Just completed the McLaren, and think it is probably the most satisfying Lego model I have ever done. Loved it!

The Maclaren is on my "when it's under £x list".

I am one bag into the Airbus.

If you decide to move the airbus on perhaps we could do a deal like we did for the BMW smile

I got the airbus on eBay but it arrived utterly trashed by Evri and haven't got round to replacing it, and missed the £120 Amazon window.

Ooh. Quite possibly. I'll let you know.

I also need to work through the sets in the loft, assembling, checking, then taking apart and bagging. So far I've only rebuilt 8070, and I've not found book 2 of the instructions yet (though they're all online).

I have finished the Airbus. It's very, very clever. Also the Raptor - better than I expected from the reviews. It's just engine, doors, and suspension, but the rear suspension is very nicely done and it's a good finished model.

Amazon have the Ford GT down to £84 which is rather tempting.

Got my lad the 42144 Technic Material Handler for his birthday, I was really impressed with it. Felt more like the Technic of old with lots of working features rather than something trying to look like a licensed product with little play value. Has 2 pneumatic cylinders controlling the boom, another one for the grab, the cab goes up and down via a worm gear, steering on one of the axles and the stabilizer arms lock out with an over-centre toggle mechanism. Thje grab is an ingenious little build by itself from what I could see (with every one he builds I'm needed less and less for help!)

Was about £80 from Zavvi and makes up into a decent sized vehicle. Good value at that price although don;t think I'd have paid full rrp for it.

I liked the tow truck. I know truck-with-crane is a well-trodden path for Technic, but it was a good build and a nice completed model.
