Thread Bump......how time flies!
I still have the models, although not all of them. Back in 2013, shortly after i put my original message up, i had a change of heart and held on to the models, sadly leaving them to gather dust in the loft. Well recently I've had the urge again to try and sell them on to collectors who would want them. I tried a car boot sale a few weekends back thinking it's worth the £6 to try and see if collectors might be on the look out, and ended up selling about 32 cars. I then tried a car and train fair this weekend just gone, again hoping to sell the cars etc on to collectors, sadly every other stand was selling the same sort of stuff, sold about 4 models. Not many, but all monies raised are going towards my baby which is currently baking 'in mummies oven' and due in Jan 2017. I had another stroke of luck in the last couple of days, a gentleman who purchased a couple of models off me at the car boot took my number and texted me about seeing what else i had for sale, as i wasn't able to bring all the models to the car boot. He brought 17 cars, and we both left happy with the deal that was reached.
I might try again a car boot in the near future, although this isn't really the way i was expecting to sell them. The last car boot was very good, although mainly down to one sale of 27 cars at £280 to one collector. Ebay seems to be the only other way forward, so will try that also.
So if i never got back to anyone, i became very ill in 2013 and life has changed a bit since then, and i've very sorry for not replying. I do still have a lot of the models though, and anyone still interested, then PM me and i will do my best to let you know what i have left (sold about 10% in total in the last couple of weeks).
Cheers, Slickus
