I justify the cost by telling myself there all free, in that there's very few models I've bought that I couldn't get back at least what I paid for them if sold.

Just pulled the trigger on this. Getting big into my Le Mans models after milking the rallying/dakar model market dry (I've even got the obscure spanish championship and one off models such as the Marlboro Lancia Delta's.)

Here is something a bit different, and special!
Exoto Sunoco Porsche 917. In pictures the paint scheme does nothing for me but in the flesh it looks amazing, the yellow really pops! This is part of a car/chassis twin set.

And that engine!!! Wow!

Exoto are at the top of their game for pure detail

I used to collect EXOTO 1:18 scales racing Porsches. Have quite a few 934's and 935's. They were never cheap but prices took off and even lowly models are now starting at $717.00 which is a bit trumpy. Look at prices of discontinued models and they are stating values as being in excess of $1,000.00

www.exoto.com

Not for those of a nervous disposition..... ;-)

Those 1/8 Pocher F40 kits are fetching good money now. I've got 2 - one built, one untouched, with an Autograph transkit

Hi Bob. I don't feel comfortable talking about prices on the site but if you want me to PM you with details on the ones you are interested in, we can talk.
Which ones do you like?

The Autograph Transkit is an F40 model of my dreams, but working with the metal body of the Pocher kit is beyond my ability and my wife's patience!

I went for an 1/12 scale Model Factory Hiro Lancia S4 instead and am pleased to report I am slowly working my way through it!

My latest acquisition thanks to Guiddy from the list above.

Been after one of these for a while now, one of my all time favourite race cars.
