Could anyone tell me where or who I could purchase good quality 1:18 models of a 190e and Aston DB7 from? Livery, variation colour etc doesn't matter. Cheers.
Have a look at https://ck-modelcars.de - A german retailer, but deliver to the UK (most of the best dealers seem to be in Germany) - Plenty of options there.

Maisto 1:18 Special Edition Range back in stock at Costco. £14.38 inc VAT this time. Really are unbeatable for the money. Picked up a Chiron and a Charger this time but was tempted by a C2 Corvette Stingray.

CMC are a different World and priced accordingly. Kyosho worth a look as a very good midpoint.

The details are amazing, everything on the real car is present on the model. Glad I got this when I did as they are now discontinued and the red versions and limited editions are increasing in value.

What's a good display case for 1:18 Spark models? I just want something which will keep the dust off

Best intentions and keeping to time at the start of the project, well, after making the garage 'set' anyway, reward only so far...aaaand then timing goes to pot and re-assembly is but a mere few frames before delivery to owner...so quite 'front-heavy' but hopefully telling the story of a repaint, glossing over the rhd conversion, 'retrimmed' interior and detailing before blasting off up the road....

I bought something like these but they were slightly cheaper. That might just be because the exchange rate has swung.

Thanks!

Do you know how that case works with the Spark models which already have a plinth?

Sorry, I don't. I took mine off the plinth and don't have a Spark to try. May be worth seeing if Spark do an acrylic lid for their plinth.

A bit more than 'just keeping the dust off', but I've a few of these (including a two car one) and they're very good value

Accessories arrived for the LaudoRacing Fiat 242 van.

My modest 1:18 shrine to Henri Toivonen and Sergio Cresto, who lost their lives in TO73074E on the 1986 Tour de Corse.

Inspired by this photo.

Execution of the roof rack is a bit clumsy, 'Martini Racing' van decal crooked or maybe it was like that....

Front Delta S4 clamshell is on my office desk at the moment, keeping a Toivonen 037 company.

Thats lovely. You should have them in a dustfree crystal case, there are many on ebay - just tap in "scale display case"

I've just marvelled at the lack of a decent Lancia Stratos model... I mean how hard can it be?
Found 4 different brands as yet and only Kyosho is decent enough (well they're always good), but rather expensive.

Never owned a 901 ( had an early 911 years ago) but the models are of my cars. Could not get. colour- match for the 991 in orange, though I do have a 1:12 in orange..
