I have been looking into this, and I have a couple of questions:
1) How much dismantling is required to fit?
2) Have you got a picture of the battery box?

I have got mine mounted on a wall, due to failing to understand the scale of it, as such the battery box might prove to be an issue.

The new mid-size R2-D2 kit is nice, builds in a similar way to the Saturn V lower stages and the Baby Yoda. Comes with a special Darth Malik 25th Anniversary minifigure, I’ve no idea who/what that is but presume he’s from one of the animated series in the extended universe that I can’t be bothered with, so I don’t know if these two characters even have any kind of relationship.

And with extra accessories

Please let me/us know how they turn out. I also submitted feedback to Lego when asked about the rear tyres not being wider than the fronts.

Loved the Birds of Paradise build

Very tempted by the orchids as they look great.

I don't suppose anyone has seen wider tyres for the rear set on the McLaren MP4/4?
Something that Lego should have got right from the start, all that effort to make new wheels and tyres and it ends up looking like an F3 car.

Thefre must be some existing wheels/tyres that will do a better job, and be actuall tyres not one piece plastic.

Something like,

Although not a slick.

I'll have to have a rummage through my stock of wheels/tyres and see what fits.

Everyone at work has laughed at me when I said I get the wife lego flowers/plants - but its the ultimate gift that keeps giving - next year comes around, knock it off the shelf and she can rebuild it. Awesome.

Question - am looking for a Speed Champs scale model of a US SUV - think Suburban/Escalalde/Navigator. Needs to be 8 dots wide - Through Rebrickable/Bricklink I can find MOC instructions for six dots wide but just pics of 8 dot wide models.

Any pointers/links would be greatly appreciated.

3D printing tyres in rubber is an option.

Yes, definitely needs better rear wheels, they ruin the look

Only a low-down side view really disguises the horror

Also this is clearly based on how the MP4/4 looks now, with the curved red chevrons and the “Senna” sticker behind the roll hoop, I’m pretty sure that wasn’t there in period. It had two very prominent aerials there too, I’ll try and find something in the spares box.

There's also this one that's exclusive to the Lego House. Being a one-legged pirate, I really want one but eBay sellers are taking the Michael!

And, if course the Wooden Duck and moulding machine.

My kit arrived today - looking at the instructions its going to take longer to build in the lights than build the kit laugh

I like the moulding machine. Isn't there an exclusive set at Bilund airport too?
