Finished the F40.
Shocked by how much I enjoyed it, and its a really good looking model in the flesh. For me, at least, the worries about the 'boxiness' were for nothing.
The small detailing in places is ingenious - the NACA ducts on the bonnet for example.
Just one area of disappointment for me, and thats the stickers over the rear arch - looks like they just gave up there! A bit of a shame when the rest of the car is so well done.
Anyhoo - a big surprise for me, and well worth the money
A combination of the above and georgefreeman's post.Shocked by how much I enjoyed it, and its a really good looking model in the flesh. For me, at least, the worries about the 'boxiness' were for nothing.

Re: Ingenious detailing
Typically I don't look at the brick inventory on the box in favour of emptying all of the bags in build order e.g. All contents from bags marked 1 go into a large tub and I get on with building until there's nothing left but spares leaving the other bags unopened.
So I was a bit surprised to keep coming across a certain item when rummaging around in the early stages of part 2 of the build.
Pistols which fit, grip first, into the engine block. Builders with bigger collections than mine might have come across this design approach before but it's the first time I've encountered it.
I've been unsure about the need for small, yellow, shield-shaped bricks which are present just inside the front arches. Having played with the model a bit more they now make perfect sense and are another very clever design touch.
I have spent this morning and yesterday afternoon dismantling sets before workmen start at my house tomorrow. As I was taking apart the last one, I realised my thumb tips were a bit sore and noticed one had started bleeding. That's despite finally discovering how good the brick separator is! Hmm, I shall try not to make my thumbs bleed from too much Lego manipulation in future

Cracking on with the Kwik E Mart at the moment.
Lots of printed parts but still 50 stickers.
Has a pretty large footprint as well.
Shame they didn't make a HD style motor bike or red sports car for Snake.
I'm just finishing the Simpson's house and looking at the Kwik E Mart online I'm struggling to justify paying the price for it. It looks like a £100 set to me, if that. Is it a good build? Lots of printed parts but still 50 stickers.

I'm not a fan of the simpsons so I've overlooked these sets, I should imagine a fair bit of their cost is due to licensing.
I'm tempted to pick them up as investment sets.
The beauty of the simpsons house set is how similar the contents of the house to the show it is. If you're not a fan then I wouldn't recommend it (investment wise could very well be a winner assuming the simpsons show continues). I am a (ish) fan and I enjoyed building it.I'm tempted to pick them up as investment sets.

Went to order the Scooby Doo Mystery Machine on the Lego website this morning - it was released today - and there is a note that it is not shipping until August 30th ?!
Ordered from Amazon UK instead with free shipping to NL but I still find it odd that something comes out today and is already sold out. Was it that popular ?
