Its a nice set, I have two now, I bought the second without a box or book on ebay, and it has vastly increased the buildability.

My 6 year old is currently building a metropolis called SkyCity on my desk, the Star wars figures seem to like it normally but tonight the new 3 in 1 Dinosaur seems keen.

I picked up the BB-8 set (75187) in Tesco today for £56. My son has it on his list this year. Not sure if it was a local offer or if it’s Tesco’s current price. There were only two on the shelf and I quickly googled to see how much it was elsewhere. I couldn’t find it cheaper than that.

Good stuff - word of warning though, make sure your tablet is compatible with the app before Christmas day - or face frustration and tears. as Boost is basically just a bunch of Lego pieces without it.

Despite having 5 tablets in the house, I ended up having to buy a new one (Kindle HD 8 2017) to get it working! Fortunately these things are 'relatively;' cheap thse days.
Thanks so much for the tip and will look into this.

Superfast shipment from Jadlam (thanks Russ!) - I will be looking at more soon! They sent it the following day in the UK and from there, it wound its way to here in Dubai via dropship service.

Yes it is or should I say was. Looking at bobski1’s post under mine it didn’t last long before it was gone again.

Nice tip, just been to Brent Cross and got one from there, along with the gift card. This set is retired now so it's going for way more than that, anywhere that still has it. The gift card seems to be literally get £20 of free lego in the two weeks after Christmas, no strings attached. Thanks

I think im going to give up on the millennium falcon. I really wanted one to build whilst I was on my Christmas break but it doesn't look likely unless I pay over the odds.

Falcon is back in stock on the website. Don’t know about the stores.

I would but have been threatened with violence and some muttering about a patio door that needs replacing.

I managed to place an order for the Saturn V from Lego's online store last month; it said it would ship by 9 December but I haven't had any shipping notifications yet.

The freebie Christmas Build-Up arrived straight away at least!

I came home with this the other day - one of the perks of working for LEGO.

ETA - not sure why the image ended up posting sideways.

Any idea on when the Falcon will be released next?

How do I sign up for e-mail alerts on it?

Our store should be getting them in for January 1st. I believe the sets are currently being sent out to VIP members who are on a waiting list.

I don't think LEGO is doing email alerts for the Falcon. It's just a case of phoning your local store or checking online.

F40 or Saturn rocket?
F40 retiring soon, Saturn rocket costs more and its double vip points.
Anyone got both?

Not interested as investments.

Don’t have the F40 because I can’t find one unless I venture to the bay of fleas.

The Saturn V is a beautiful model. A far better addition to any Lego collection when compared to the F40.
