Non Technic LEGO

On a grey or white, or any colour where it makes up the majority of the visible bricks, do lego put random colours in the centre of th model where you can't see?
Just to make the bags more interesting?

Good going, there's a couple of bits missing on mine too but as it's currently packed away after moving and has broke apart a bit I'm going to try and source them ready to rebuild.

Just thought some here might like to see this rather ridiculous lego build this chap has made purely to house his wearable lego mech suit. 230,000 pieces and $20,000 worth.

I do enjoy a bit of lego and even making little custom builds but stuff like this is on a different level and I can't even begin to imagine how you start making it.
