I know it's a long shot but does anyone on here have a local Argos with a destinys bounty in stock? It would appear most of the country is sold out?

The Americans always seem to call the pieces Legos.

Seems odd but I’m not angry about it myself.

I was going to post that too. It's £149.99 at Smyths and you can use their £10 off £100 spend voucher (expires today) to get it for the same price, but you get VIP points at the Lego store and there should be some of the freebie sets left too, so it's actually a better deal at the Lego store. Which is the first thing I've seen this season that is cheapest there.

Picked up the Carousel and Downtown Diner at Smyths this weekend. Both great deals and the Carousel is retiring soon, so probably my last opportunity to add it to the pile of boxes which I haven't had time to open and build laugh

that is very tempting, a lot of "odd" pieces in that set, far more variety than many sets.

Thanks

Lego have re-released the Vestas Wind turbine;

https://shop.lego.com/en-GB/Vestas-Wind-Turbine-10...

At £160 for 800 pieces though I think they can fk off.

I feel sorry for the dude on Brick Link who had 40 of the originals in his inventory that he wanted £2.6k a piece for!

It's the first model to use their new sustanable, plant-based "green" lego bricks which is probably why they are charging so much smile

It's only the tree which is "sustainable" isn't it?

I think there’s actually 2 trees smile but yeah, afaik it’s just those which are green. Also, they are green.

Yeah, I don't really, I just wanted an excuse to mention him!

My little boy would love this set but not at £160! I'm almost tempted to get the Lepin version to spite them.

Random question - My son will get his train set and 3 boxes of track... But is there a good / easy way of doing a track with crossover with a bridge? I've seen an ebay effort for crossover, but I'm not sure that's a workable solution...

It is powered though and lights up, so it isn’t just the bricks

No but honestly even at full price it’s worth it, I’ve had it since release and love it

Is the new Hogwarts Castle going to stay exclusive to Lego?

My finance manager approved the purchase for the family to work on over Christmas.
