Certainly for the foreseeable future.

I suspect you'll find that it is made available to selected retailers at some point next year.

If you're after it to build over Christmas, Lego is your only option.

This is my 2nd favourite build. The only problem I found was that there was a high number of parts missing (c.20bricks) which took about 3wks to get from Lego customer service - hopefully you’ll have better luck esp as the build will be over Xmas smile

I like the F40 and the Dodge(s).
And the mini, but not the rest of the kit.

I wish they would sell the cars on their own. I wanted the Porsches from the last lot but not the garage bit.

At £160 for 800 pieces though I think they can fk off.

I feel sorry for the dude on Brick Link who had 40 of the originals in his inventory that he wanted £2.6k a piece for!

It is powered though and lights up, so it isn’t just the bricks
The power functions is what, £30 on it's own? So that's £130 for the remaining 800 pieces!

Could anyone recommend where to sell some unopened Creator Expert sets that isn't eBay?

The sets are the Mini Cooper, Beetle, Aston and Caterham. All unopened, and I'd quite like to move them on before Xmas.

How much would you want for each of them? Interested in taking them, ideally all but doubt I could afford them so maybe just the mini

Ouch, £44.99 to get hold of the new Speed Champions Mini Cooper as it's bundled with a load of other stuff. Hard to resist though as it's a thing of beauty.

Amazon's lego pricing is a little bonkers... My daughter wants some Lego Friends stuff which, in my opinion, is stupidly overpriced, but the "Snow Resort Chalet (41323)", last night, was showing on Amazon for £43 odd, but I ordered it on Thursday from Amazon for £24...

It's just a gamble now as to when you might get the best price for anything.

They automatically track certain websites and will match them so can fluctuate quite dramatically (and remember when Amazon themselves go out of stock the price switches to the cheapest third party seller).

We stocked up for Christmas when Tesco Direct shut down, as Amazon instantly matched their clearance prices. A few of the city sets we got have never been cheaper since.

It's also worth popping the details into Brickwatch if you're after a certain set, it was an eye opener how often there are (sometimes brief) significant discounts on Lego sets. I don't think we've ever waited more than two weeks for a hefty drop worth taking advantage of.

Because the Lego Friends and City sets around that price range (so they have a place on actual supermarket shelves) are commonly on special offers / discounts in places like Asda/Tesco and maybe Argos, and I guess Amazon are matching them.

For Amazon use Camelcamelcamel it tracks the price. You put the price you want to pay and it sends you an alert when it reduces to your price point.

Looking at the Amazon option you bought it just before it went out of stock

Your best bet is to just not use amazon. For every cheap purchase you’ll buy 5 things that were cheaper elsewhere.

If Amazon have stock of a product it’s often market leading. If they don’t have stock then forget it.
