esp at £250!

Surprised it’s made the cut tbh. Although I suppose the Chinese market will love it

I'm not a football fan so have no idea what Old Trafford looks like for real, but on seeing the Lego model photos I thought wow that's a pretty clumsy effort from Lego. But just looked at some photos of the real building and I see that is a dull and clumsy building in real life. It's no Emirates Stadium anyway!

My local LEGO store was in the process of building the stadium when I popped in today. It seems pretty detailed.

Looks like Sticker Hell.

Can't tell if the pitch is stickers as well or have they done printed tiles for that.

It does look ripe for alternative sticker sets with more colourful and exciting adverts / LED signs than those (similar to how at one point they were giving away alternate sticker sheets to go on the side of the London Bus).

The pitch tiles are printed. The signs on and around the stands are all stickers.

Good to know that even the experts put stickers on bent.

On the upside, offside will by complete studs and not need VAR review.

Got a pair of Quattro’s & a single GTR.

One Quattro will be built with rally livery & the other will be plain white. Probably.

Meanwhile the hunt for the Ferrari F8 goes on.

I dallied too long in trying to secure the Lego Movie 2 Welcome to Apocalypseburg set, then they had the sale on late last year where it dropped to about £200 and that seemed to wipe out the last of the stock they had as it's disappeared completely from the site now.

Been keeping an eye on eBay and the cheapest there seems to be £360, but found a sealed set on Bricklink for the RRP and I've bagged that. Intention is to build it when my boys are a bit older, but I might have to give it a trial run first and make sure there are no missing bits, that's my excuse anyway...

I agree that the roof looks crap.

Hadn’t realised that two mini figures fitted into the cabin. Need to find a spare figure.

Can you get the yellow bricks in white from anywhere? I’d like to build mine all white to match my full sized one if possible
