True but the Gunship has always been a good seller.. I had a couple of copies of the first set which sold very well.... I picked them up from Argos for £65 and sold them for £230 each.

It had decent play value.... How that will translate to a more expensive UCS set ......

Especially now there seems to be yet another tier in-between the regular play sets and the UCS ones which are the Master Builder ones.

Yeah which means even more so that the UCS designation is for display models, so ‘playability’ shouldn’t be a concern here.

IMO the flimsy looking frigate would’ve been perfect in this regard, and the bomber nicely continues the theme with the other UCS star fighters.

Ah well, it’s an easy pass and £2-300 saved biggrin

A mate has sent me this, I'm not sure if it's real as I can't find any English websites showing it, brothers brick doesn't list it yet

Excellent! Although I've not yet purchased the Mustang or Harley Davidson to complete the display. Have all the creator expert cars to date mind.

I remember when the Fiat 500 went through Ideas thinking it was madness it was not selected as it made such a good fit to the range of cars already done.

Literally just finished building the Mustang (enjoyable and looks good but nowhere near the DB5 imho) and stumbled across this on rebrickable which looks excellent to these eyes.

Any good deals around on the Harry Potter stuff? I want to get a couple of sets for my wife's birthday, without going to the expense of the actual Hogwarts set. Russy has a decent offer on that I've seen, I'd quite like to get 1 or 2 sets to add to it though...

My problem with the potter sets is that they are all different scales so don’t look good next to each other.

Even the hogwarts castle has some mixed scales in it and it annoys the life out of me every time I look at it

Good to know, not sure if it's something I'd have noticed!

Official lego lighting kits possibly coming? Not clear yet if they are actually going on sale, or just mock-ups to guage interest.

I'd suspect a mock up as the fonts don't look right at all...

Cue Lego taking action on the existing sources of lighting kits.....

Not sure why Lego would get into lighting kits, unless they are massively more robust than the existing aftermarket ones. I managed to get the Ghostbusters Firehouse lit with no issues although it was very fiddly, but broke a wire doing the VW Camper. Do they really want the returns and grumpy social media noise?

Some of the kits do have small amounts of lighting kits already though.

The large wind turbine set has lighting in the chalet etc... which hasn’t had any issues in my set.

Has anyone received the ISS from Lego?

Ordered mine last week, paid, expected delivery this week & now find I won’t get delivery before 10 March - I’m on ‘back order’ apparently.

Also it appears that I am not getting either the free racer or the patch that was offered on release.

Annoyed. Much.

Yes got mine, sorry.

Agree, however the included lights in existing kits have fairly substantial cables - the aftermarket lighting kit have cables that will tuck under flat plates on top of bricks which are absolutely tiny - almost sewing thread tiny.

I ordered the day of release and received a few days later. Haven’t built it yet though.

I'm jealous, that was my favourite build of all the creator cars, I love the 007 touches from the real DB5
