I'm jealous, that was my favourite build of all the creator cars, I love the 007 touches from the real DB5

Tonight's progress.

So despite me hiding away the ISS as the boss would kill me we have now been gifted steamboat willie and in the Lego store made me get the dinosaur fossil collection rofl

I’ve now got my Lego rewards points to £20 so of course will need to purchase something else soon.

So currently have a load of speed champions around the flat and moving to a house soon. So thought it was time to actually display my speed champions properly.

The office will be home to my technic collection and nasa sets and the recent dinosaur fossil set the boss has said she would like to put in cages in the living room along with steamboat Willie.

Is anyone able to show me how they’ve displayed their speed champions?

This turned up today.

I’ve bought it for work honestly!

Seriously though I really have, we are using it to demonstrate what we are doing on network rail switch sites!

I’m still going to play with it of course..

It’s says 6-12 years for the age build on the box.

There’s an awful lot of parts in here for a six year old I can tell you!

I think that, for such a project, you need more track. A lot more biggrin

I’m sure that would be great and a lot of fun too.

But this is actually a serious buiness application made a bit more fun with Lego.

So all we really need is a cargo train and a looped track with a switch to a siding, and this set gives us all of that and more,

It’s for a table top display at our various trade shows, so we are happy with it as it stands.

I agree, more track needed.

You could do shunting puzzles at the trade shows as a side attraction.

We got this set as it includes a switch, which is an important part of our rail side monitoring solution.

It’s more as a talking point really. So a method to draw people to the stand to talk, and perhaps a prize draw to win a Lego set too.
