What are the general thoughts on the ISS set please? Anyone got it and really happy?
I've been looking at it, but i'm not 100% at the moment. I already have the Shuttle Expedition, Saturn V, and Lunar Lander, so thinking of getting the ISS to carry on the space theme. Is it worth £65 though, I don't want to get it just for the sake of carrying on the theme.
For balance, I found it a bit dull to be honest. I paid £110 for the Saturn V so £65 seems steep for the scale and complexity that the ISS is(n't). New to this thread but need something to occupy my time at the moment, along with everyone else in the world it would seem.

Slightly off topic but is the Saturn V still available? Looks to be a few about but not from the traditional places and getting towards £200 which seems insane.

It’s discontinued. New to this thread but need something to occupy my time at the moment, along with everyone else in the world it would seem.

Yes, dis-continued, so best option is probably to get a knock-off.
Not sure how accurate the knock-offs are but the Saturn V is a very tight build in places and really needs to be perfectly put together to line up correctly, more so than any standard Lego (i.e. not Technic) set I can think of.That and the Caterham (which is just flat out fragile, remarkably so for a modern fully approved and playtested Lego set) are the two I'd probably advise against, unless the copies are absolutely perfect.

Hi chaps, what's the best way to sell sets? We have various sets with instructions, some built and some as a set in pieces, but loads in a big crate with various sets of instructions. One set seems to sell for £150 on eBay but most are just common or garden Harry Potter, Star Wars, Ninjago sets.
I assume eBay is best, but built or not? And is there any chance the mountain of bits plus various instructions would sell well, or do we have to sort it out??

As linked previously for finding parts, I'd say Brick Link is probably a really good place to sell, likely better than ebay anyway as you have people actually looking for specific sets and items so you might have better luck selling.. I'm not sure how easy it is to sell on there in practice but buying is simple enough from my experience.I assume eBay is best, but built or not? For any bulk / mixed boxes - I imagine you could sell this if the price is fair, you might get the people that build tonnes of stuff just stock up on misc. bags to get a supply of spare parts to use or split and re-sell..

Also worth trying on any local buy/sell FB groups. I’ve also used Shpock in the past too.I assume eBay is best, but built or not? And is there any chance the mountain of bits plus various instructions would sell well, or do we have to sort it out??

I would be interested in the Star Wars ( & maybe Harry Potter) sets but it would mean sorting out the pieces. I assume eBay is best, but built or not? And is there any chance the mountain of bits plus various instructions would sell well, or do we have to sort it out??

Do you have a list of what you have or how much you are looking for?I assume eBay is best, but built or not? And is there any chance the mountain of bits plus various instructions would sell well, or do we have to sort it out??
Last time I enquired from a PHer, I ended up with so much Lego, I ended up giving some of it to my mum - Which has ended up in with all my old lego from when I was growing up My girlfriend at the time saw the three giant boxes, shook her head, rolled her eyes and said "I'll see you in a few days then"
