Not sure exactly what we have, and certainly no idea how much to ask which is why I was thinking eBay. I'll have a look at Brick Link, thanks.
You can sell it by the kilo on ebay - usually starting at £10 per kilo up to £20 per kilo for popular stuff like your Star Wars/Harry Potter. Search for Lego Kilo on ebay to get an idea of prices. Not sure exactly what we have, and certainly no idea how much to ask which is why I was thinking eBay. I'll have a look at Brick Link, thanks.
I would however advise you to never ever sell it - it can be very expensive to rediscover it as hobby in a few years and want to buy it all back again!

Yes but Legoland are not part of the Lego group , they have some unique sets and may have some sets that Lego themselves dont have. Japveesix said:

Same, although perhaps closer to 6.30, and there is no sign of it yet.Even though I bought it my girlfriend is waiting with eager anticipation as if it's for her....

I wasnt bothered with them when they first came out, but since being off my girls have expressed an interest in space - perfect excuse to get building!
And it is probably my favourite ever Lego kit. It is a wonderful model. Can’t find anything to fault on it.
Just make sure you display it somewhere where it can’t get knocked over.
I have the Lunar Lander paid for - currently sitting in a locked up Smyths toys store so god knows when I will get it.
Haven’t got round to ordering the ISS - just bought & built the Land Rover Defender & I have the crawler crane due for delivery tomorrow!!!
Anyone built / building Barracuda Bay...
Can you check /recall where in your packaging the really long axle piece was / is?
It's the piece used as internal support for the first big mast - I can't find mine anywhere, might have to request one from Lego but want to check where it was supposed to be just in case

Managed to buy the Saturn V for £140 which given the fact it is discontinued isn't too bad, its brand new from Germany. I did look at the Lepin'esk versions but the price difference wasn't another to not justify getting the authentic one.
Now to try and be patient whilst I wait 2 weeks for it to arrive!!
Now if I like it I might be tempted to buy ma knock off shuttle as they just seem to be silly money on ebay

Haven't Lego essentially now bought Merlin Entertainments?
Kind of. Kirkbi is the family office for the Lego family and they still own 75% of Lego. They manage the wealth of the family, some of which they've used to acquire 50% of Merlin alongside the Canadian Pension Plan and Blackstone (a private equity fund).-crookedtail- said:
