How on earth did you get that for £10?https://www.amazon.co.uk/LEGO-75913-Champions-Scud...

I did the new Empire State building this Christmas, no missing parts and astonishingly no left over parts, not even a spare light brown 2 stud grid, remarkable since there are hundreds in the thing.
Looks great next to the statue of liberty!
How'd you find the build? I got one on order with Amazon. Along with the Diner direct from Lego and a dodgy Guggenheim set from China which will probably never arrive.Looks great next to the statue of liberty!

Didn’t waste a second. Said I would have it, walked to his house, left a tenner in the porch & walked away with the kit.
So do I keep unopened, build it or sell it???

That’s nuts. I think they were around £70.00 new - never got round to buying one. Hadn’t given it another thought until it popped up on my Facebook feed.

The fact you got it so cheap I’d build it. Didn’t waste a second. Said I would have it, walked to his house, left a tenner in the porch & walked away with the kit.

I take my time over a few nights so never get bored.
My favourite build ever is the newer guggenheim, it's fantastic. The 1x1 tiles take a lot of lining up though.
Long-time lurker on this part of the forum, but I've found it really interesting and inspirational lately.
Today's project was the Lego James Bond Aston Martin DB5. It took most of the day but it was really satisfying to see it come together and the operating features are generally impressive (the action of the rear, bullet-proof screen isn't that great).
It did make me wonder if you could build it without gadgets as an Aston Martin Volante, or back date it to look like a DB4?

I recently ordered some stuff from Lego, as I keep leaving it too late and missing the retired sets, which then jump in price. I’ve not been away on a decent holiday for about three years, following a motorbike accident t and the cash I put into my credit union account at at work has been steadily building, so I’ve used some of it to fund these purchases. I also got the Saturn V from Dr G (after a bit of a faff with bloody DHL).
I’m kicking myself that I didn’t buy the Welcome to Apocalypseburg, Ninjago City and Ninjago Docks When they were available directly from Lego, but I might just have to bite the bullet and get them anyway.
First bit of the delivery. I’ve got everything now, even the back ordered stuff was here within a week.

Was gutted when I missed out on the pre-Christmas Apocalypesburg offer where they knocked 33% off it, that then wiped out their remaining stock and I couldn't even find it at full price after that. Happened upon a listing on Bricklink where there was a brand new one in the shipping box at RRP so I snapped that up and now just need to find the time (and space) to build it.Got both the big Ninjago sets and the Destiny's Bounty, all three are excellent builds and some of my absolute favourites, so highly recommend those if you do get a chance to buy them.
Have also got the new Pirates of Barracuda Bay waiting to be built too.
The MOC Ferrari F310 build is getting closer, after cannibalising a spare Speed Champions F1 car and a evening on bricklink some arrived today, still have 4 deliveries to come (one of them naturally has the long piece to start the build on) so hopefully next day or so.
Have got the wheels painted now at least (gold obvs)
And need to find someone who can print stickers but let’s see how we get on
