I bought the F40 from goforbroke and really enjoyed it, probably my favourite build so far - I also bought the Mini Cooper from him and enjoyed that too. Overall I've found I actually preferred the Creator builds more than the Technics ones, despite the latter being bigger with all the clever gubbins.

Still got the VW Camper, Aston, Mustang, ISS and Saturn V to build!
I'm really pleased you've got them built and enjoyed them. Thanks for such an easy sale.smile
Ditto fella.

Still mulling over that other space-related one by the way...! biggrin

Spoke with them at length and they would not budge, one per customer and I already had one ordered / delivered.

But thanks to kind PH member Funk it looks like I have sourced a genuine one at a very reasonable price from a uk site.
Let me know if it arrives as expected! thumbup Still got a finger hovering over the London Bus button.... hehe

Its gone mate i'm afraid. I managed to sell a few more sets last week, but still working on what's left.

Ah well, makes that decision for me then... Glad you've managed to shift a few more though!

Will do, I did ask the question before ordering and was told they are 100% genuine and are shipped directly from the Lego distribution warehouse.

So will be interesting to see if it arrives all ok.

Thanks again

Loads left. I have managed to get rid of quite a bit, but an impending separation means it needs to go. Yes, still have that one. PM me if you're interested.

Anyone built the new UCS A-Wing and the last UCS Snowspeeder ?

Now have a space above my Y-Wing and would like recommendations if anyone has built both.
Yeah built both in last few weeks. Both good display sets.
A-wing probably a little bit more fragile, but some good build techniques.
Snowspeeder a more enjoyable build for me. Retired tho so will come with a price.
I would take the speeder if i could only have one set.
Excuse rubbish phone pics

Decided to build the A-Wing first started about 11am and knocked off about 17:00 when I started to have trouble focusing biggrin Probably about 2/3 complete. Enjoying the build but I think I was spoiled a little by the Y-Wing. That was the first proper set I've actually built in years and it was superb.

Edit to say : Just noticed you dont have any stickers on yours ?

I can relate to that :-) my first set was 722 in 1980 followed by 744. Still have them both. I’m 51.

I rebuilt 10248 Creator F40 last week, really enjoyed the build (again) it has some fantastic techniques. I hope TLG do another creator expert car that tickles my fancy soon.
After finishing i felt really inspired to build a MOC based on 205 T16. Progress is painfully slow and in truth it doesn't look very good but its passing time in these lockdown days quite well.
I rebuilt this at the start of lockdown. Best model I have ever built. It's a fantastic design and enjoyed building it much more than the Porsche GT3

I've had my eye on the creator series since the F40 but for me nothing has reached that level since so I'm still waiting to buy another set from the series!

Enjoy all of the others. Great collection

Finished building the Harley last night, great model and a nice build.

It also looks better in the flesh than the photos.

I’ll agree with that comment.

Even SWMBO, who hates the amount of Lego I have in the house, says it looks really good.

Just wondering what sets you have available?

Need more lego during furlough and before I need to be more sensible with money when made redundant...

Just finished the A-Wing and while I enjoyed putting it together it's not a patch on the Y-Wing in terms of enjoyment of build or design.

Giving stickers for such a large curved canopy is not good. Luckily mine went on fine with no bubbles but the sticker that goes around the canopy is not long enough leaving a small gap at the other side !

Handily there is some black left over on the sheet so it's possible to construct a small filler piece. Lego also put a spare canopy sheet in my set I guess they expect some people screw it up.

Would I buy again knowing how the build went .... I'm not 100% sure I would. It looks good on the shelf but I'm not feeling the warm glow of satisfaction I felt when I finished the Y-Wing just a kind of relief that it's finished.

I'm sure I will warm to it especially after watching Jedi again :-)

We have this one, really impressed with the quality of their sets. The minifigures are absolute trash, but that's pretty standard for anything but Lego.

Where did this come from? Looks very interesting, I'm assuming that's the Le Corbusier Unité d'Habitation in Marseille on the front cover.
