I ordered one of these lamps at the end of May. It hasn't arrived yet and I can't wait!
What did you order and where from please..? biggrin
It was an advert on Facebook, these guys https://allstarview.com/products/apollo-space-rock... - NB this isn't a recommendation yet but I'm not naming and shaming either
Well I am! I ordered one on the 20th June. Delivery made today while I was at work, so I've come home to find they've sent me a Chinese knock off Saturn V rocket and not a lamp! Very, very annoyed!
Oh dear, I took a punt on one as well - but it sounds like mine won't be any better then - I'll try and refuse the delivery in the first instance in order to get it refunded immediately by PayPal. Sounds like it's 'significantly not as described' anyway! Ordered on the 17th June and it's still in Russia apparently... Did you pay with PayPal, ie. can you get them to sort it out?

Even more annoyingly I actually cancelled the order before it shipped but they ignored every email. Can you post pics of what was sent?
Sorry I don't know how to put pictures up.

Emailed their customer service and got this reply:

" Dear customer,

Thank you for contacting us.

Regarding far international shipping way and violent delivery, rocked is easy to be extruded.

So it is delivered in form of self-assembly parts, which is a kind of decompression method and entertainment.

It is easy to be assembled.

Thank you for your understanding.

Best regards

Joe"

Suffice to say that"Joe" got a stinging rebuke as a response. I feel a visa chargeback coming on.....

Hi all,

Just a heads up Tesco are selling the speed champion Nissan GTR Nismo for £12 (usually £18). Felt guilty after just finishing the Chiron so had to butter up the missus with flowers..haha.

That's a great little build and a bargain at £12.

Definitely. The stickers aren’t too bad when using tweezers and it’s a sturdy build. Think the Porsche Turbo remains my favourite.

It’s hard to say no when they’ve been discounted and you come across them, albeit when you purposely go down the toy aisle..

There's a small white disc that has space for batteries, and a small bag of cotton wool. So it's nothing like it is described or pictured on the website.

Ordered the lego NES, unfortunately on back order but should have it in time to save for a Christmas day build, if I resist.

Pre-ordered the Mario stuff direct with Lego on day one in April...release date was today, not dispatched yet.

Until an hour ago I could order it on Amazon for delivery tomorrow, and they've knocked a fiver off already!

I’m glad it’s not just me then. I had the mandolorian preordered since April and it’s not dispatched. Went to contact Lego and they only work Monday - Friday.

Literally no benefit in preordering from them.

I put my name down for an Osprey way back when I first heard of them and managed to get one here.

That being said, watching the prices going nuts, I'm going to sell it as will handily pay for a laptop (hopefully) for my son for the next school year.

The real Osprey looks so menacing with the gigantic rotors in the horizontal position!

Managed to get mine refunded by PayPal as the tracking shows no movement in 3 weeks - enough to class it as 'not delivered'. Think I dodged a bullet on that one! Will be interesting to see what (if anything) does turn up though and I'll be happy to tell the seller I'll return it to them at their expense.

I'm not on Facebook but apparently there's a lot of posts on there about them and others being scams.

Built the ISS last night - cool model but not a particularly interesting build though:

I do think I need to get the Lunar Lander to go with it now though... biggrin

I got the Lunar Lander last week and really enjoyed the build, plus I think it looks really cool too, like you, I now need to get the ISS to complete the 3 sets (S5, Lunar Lander and ISS). laugh

I'm just about to list an ISS on Gumtree, PM if interested. I now need the lunar lander.

Pre-ordered the Mario Starter set on April 7th the moment pre-orders went live, sets came out on August 1st, haven't even been dispatched yet!

Comes to something when they can get stock out to resellers and they can deliver on time, but Lego themselves aren't dispatching to customers yet.

ISS Maybe worth saving .... The real thing is due to be decommissioned in a few years so I reccon the price of this set will increase :-)
