Are the Mario sets much kop? From just looking, they don't look great, but I'm intrigued - It's a bit crap that you have to have bought the £50 base set for it all to work in the first place...
Daughter got the Mario starter set for her birthday. It’s quite clever in that it uses barcodes to scan from Marios feet and register coins / battles etc...

There aren’t much to them though and it’s clear the money is in the licensing.

I bought this on the weekend. I just need to find time to build it.

Keen to know your thoughts ... I've been really tempted with x4 of the Marilyn Monroe ones but sceptical on value

Too big for his cabinet, we already talked about it, while he was fondling my Beetle!! smile
I already have it ready to build but as Bobberoo says, it's too large for that cabinet. I built the Aston hoping it would fit and was swiftly disabused of that notion...! It now lives on a speaker - and the London Bus on the other (for now - that may give way to the Mustang once I've done it). I also have the Saturn V and Lunar Lander to do. They'll be going in the 'space' corner, along with this:

I like this a lot. I sold most of my classic space a couple of years ago but still have vast amounts of Blacktron, M Tron, space police stuff.

My latest addition is the cool little orange guy, swapped for a figure of much lesser value!:

I suspected that might be the case - Think I'll steer clear then...

I'll try and post some photos during and after the build. I got mine for 50% off so am happy with the value so far!

I'd buy it just for the Bert and Ernie figures spin

Though not sure they've got the scale of Bigbird quite right - i would have thought it would be much larger...

Anyone tempted by the Batmobile? Down from £219.99 to £169.99..my ability to resist is waning, the lack of space in the house only just stopping me!

I just finished my one after starting it way back in December just before my second son was born. Really great build with lots of unusual techniques on it and the finished model looks fantastic, highly recommended.

I love that Batmobile but as I still have a boxed tumbler in the loft it's probably not a good buy!

I clocked that deal but did not go for it as I am not sure I like the model. Got the Tumbler, which looks good but the build was so-so in my opinion.

I think the Beetle might be a good one for me to finish off my cabinet (I've put the Stunt Racer in there too now, below the Ducati):
