They are IKEA Bertby cabinets, unfortunately discontinued, I've got one that houses 1:18 Le Mans winners but need another.

It is indeed the Bertby. I've jerry-rigged the LED lighting into it, I think it works quite well:

I think you can often pick the cabinets up second-hand on ebay or gumtree etc.

Think it’s rumoured rather than confirmed.

Brilliant, cheers. I've found Facebook Marketplace pretty helpful for older Ikea stuff (and usually dirt cheap).

Looks great with the lighting.

It based on the Afterlife car judging by the "rust". Hopefully rust is optional stickers and it can assume its original 80s look cool

Just ordered the Batwing. Wanted the Batmobile but missed out on the Smyths deal, plus the fact I don't have the space! At least I can hang the Batwing.

Anyone else got the Batwing?

Have a look at Smyths Toys, they tend to me quite a bit cheaper on those.

Oof. I paid €170 for #21309 back in May and despite a new # this looks like it's identical.

It is identical other that the model number. For some reason they’ve rereleased a few kits.

Why have they released it with a new model number?

Been wanting one of these for months

Popular and big sellers I guess, Lego certainly know how to make money, which is why most of the Star Wars UCS sets are based on the OT, they haven't done a single UCS from the new trilogy and maybe only one or two from the prequels, they know they wont sell as well.

Yeah I saw that. Already got it and it is a great build to be fair. Lego milking it like a prize Heffer cow. Wonder if the person that came up with the idea is going to get paid out again??

Not strictly true, the new UCS Falcon has the option to be made up as either OT or new trilogy.
On the large kit side there's also the Porg & BB8, which have many similarities with UCS sets such as Yoda & R2D2, despite LEGO labelling the latter as UCS but not the former.
