Yeah, that's annoying, ordered at 0520 this morning, no mention of the VIP collectors addition, so i guess i'm only getting the creator set, a bit pissed of that people were able to order before midnight.

Debated staying up until midnight to order but just before turning in at 2230 thought I'd take a quick peek; it was on already and the VIP pack went into my basket automatically on adding it.

Got a tenner off with VIP points too smile

I’m glad I’m not the only one. Set an alarm for just before midnight and hoped for the best. Assumed I was a little premature and thought I’d fire off an email this morning with a screenshot of my order until I saw this thread...

This might be a daft question now, but do we actually get the sets delivered early as VIP customers, or was it just the ability to pre-order? laugh

I don't normally complain, my wife works for a stairlift company and the amount of complaints for the most trivial and unnecessary stuff she receives is ridiculous, however after receiving the email saying that VIP access was on the 16th i duly waited until the 16th, only to discover that people had been able to order as early as 10pm on the 15th left me feeling angry and let down by the system, so i have emailed Lego to register my disappointment at the failing.

Got my order in this morning. No VIP packs, but I didn't even know there was one so not overly concerned - second hand value of those VIP packs will be through the roof though.

Also got an Easter bunny for my wife.

The bouquet I got her for valentines day really are very good - muchos impressed.

Incredibly annoying move by Lego.

Advertise the 911 as being on sale from 00.00 last night & then they released the kit, with the VIP pack, at 10.00pm meaning those of us who waited until midnight have missed out on the pack.

Even more irritated too see the packs being advertised on scambay for £100.00!!!

Not impressed.

Well I'm glad it wasn't just me then, thought I was doing something wrong. I didn't log on until just before midnight, no idea why I didn't check earlier, I was only sitting there waiting for the 16th to tick over!

£100 seems excessive for what it is. Having had a quick look at Twitter it would appear we’re not the only ones who are disappointed.

Difficult to know if it’s worth firing off an email. Aside from producing more there’s not really much they could do.

I think the issue might be that when Lego said 'Order from the 16th' it was based on midnight on the 16th their time in the EU, ie. 11pm our time - that, combined with what seems to have either been a very, very limited number of VIP packs or an extraordinary number of orders for it meant it was blitzed in short order.

Mine's showing as 'In Warehouse' this morning so presumably it'll land in a few days' time?

Well in an unusual move for me i did fire off an email to complain, hopefully the more people who register their anger at this then at least Lego will realise they made a mistake with the timing!!!

Frustrating all round, by chance I looked at about 11.20pm and saw it was available so added it to my basket and the gift was also there, so thinking i'd got it i quickly ordered. However, the confirmation order email and the order status make no reference to the gift, so assume I've missed out!

If its not a daft question but how did you do that? On the web all Lego's contact channels bar postal address are shut down as they are so busy (apparently).

Likewise. Ordered mine at 1121 last night, with VIP pack confirmed on the receipt as part of the order (I have a screenshot). However the order confirmation email, nor the order summary on Lego website shows the VIP pack as part of my order, so assume it's not going to be included.

Looking at previous orders, the free gifts show as part of the order summary, so not hopeful, but we'll see what gets delivered.

I've emailed them too - just asking about it at this stage as it was showing on the website but not in my order confirmation email or now on the order on the website.

If it comes without the pack then they will be getting it sent back.

That VIP ste on ebay is what annoys me about modern lego. So many people are in it speculating to make a fast buck and driving set prices up. Same with the osprey set. Its a fking toy at the end of the day, be it kids toy or adult toy.

Not that I have a problem with people collecting lego but it seems so much of the bigger or adult sets are all about "investment" rather than lego.

Guess just the ruiness nature of capitolism and our greed and selfish society we have created.

Cheers, yep tried that and it just results in a dead end for me with the message; We’re exceptionally busy right now and it’s taking us up to 10 days to answer emails. We’re sorry for the delay.

But with no actual way of entering or sending a message to them.
