Just spare visors aren't they? I had a little 4 pack of Mandalorian figures for Christmas and they all have visors like those, weird they gave you so many though

One of the curved bits clips on to the front of the helmet as a visor? Had a good search of images and couldn't find a single one with that piece in use. It's not featured in the many pictures of the figure in the magazine either.

As I said a few posts back, I think it's because they're running an hour ahead on EU time, making it 11pm release here. Mine shipped from the EU and arrived this morning.
You were spot on. Lego made an announcement earlier this week to confirm release times are based on Central European Time. Would’ve been nice to know on Tuesday evening but at least we know now.

But the Porsche set was released on the website before 11pm on Tuesday wasn't it?
It went live on the UK site at 11pm on the 15th (Monday) which was midnight of the 16th CET.
Well it's arrived and no VIP pack in the box..... :-(

Off to the Lego website to initiate a return......

I've got the VIP pack and to be honest, it's quite crap. Not something I'd normally do, but tempted to eBay it to pay for the 911 itself.

Reach out to Lego maybe? They seem pretty responsive on social media

I must admit it's definitely not really all that - I'd have bought the 911 with or without it.

To those who didn't get one, you're really not missing out on a huge amount. Just enjoy the 911 build, seems daft to return it on the basis you didn't get a VIP pack...?

It's a visor.

Stayed up to watch the sailing - finished the Porsche.

It’s a good set, not sure about the headlights but all good apart.

I built the targa, but you get lots of parts - i’m sure you could build a wide body turbo targa!

Theres a video on YouTube showing how to do that.

Mine all turned up at 0930 yesterday, and I have to agree that the VIP Welcome pack is utter crap. Some postcards and fake leather card wallet with wonky stitching. Not worth getting upset about - you are not missing out!

The 911 looks great though! As does the speed champions 930 Turbo I got to go with it smile

That looks ace. Really not sure which to do, Turbo or Targa.

I would have faced that decision this weekend however I went out for a run and it got delivered in that window so Monday now.

My 911 has turned up, looks to be a good set, and thanks for the feedback about the collectors set.

I built a wide body Turbo Targa.

It isn't possible to build the spoiler and the roll bar as per instructions so the spoiler is not quite right although it looks okay. You'll need 3 extra black grilles, or leave them off the roll bar.

Also, the engine cover uses a smooth 6 stud white piece that is also needed as a close out down the side of the car, between the engine cover and the rear 1/4 panel. Good news is if you don't build the Turbo roof you end up with spare 4 stud smooth bits and few spare 1 stud smooth bits so it is easy to fix.

I picked up an Ecto-1 today, new and sealed, on Facebook Marketplace - £160.
Chap said he had been given it as a birthday present, but had lost interest in Lego.

It's probably been answered on here already, but what's the best lighting kit to fit, and where's the best place to buy it please?

Great set, been out of production for awhile but its a great set if you can get one for reasonable money. First 'expensive' Lego set I ever got and it was a good feeling!

This may have been asked before, but where is the best place to sell unopened Lego sets? Got some non-Technic and a couple of Technic sets that I've decided I don't want to build so need to move them on. I'm not on Facebook etc, so that route is out.

I'd go for Bricklink myself - basically eBay for Lego.
