I've got the last Shuttle on display still; that's a pretty big bugger itself.

Not sure I need another rofl

Yeah, you do.

The set is now listed on the Lego shop site.
https://www.lego.com/en-gb/product/nasa-space-shut...

They also have another page with some notes and videos on the development process.

Space shuttle looked a bit steep at £150, but then looking at the video - it's huge. Some nice features too, I really like the silver telescope blocks. Might have a go at that when it gets to under £100.
It’s an exclusive which normally don’t appear elsewhere so RRP it is.

Ah screw that then. My son's Revell version is way better anyway (I know that's kind of not the point with Lego but...it was 6x cheaper).

I'll spend the £150 on a boxed Galaxy Explorer off EBay, to replace the one I stupidly sold in 1983.

The Space Shuttle is £170 as per the Lego website link above.

It should have been bigger and come with a fuel tank & boosters too, so it could either be displayed on the launch pad or or in space. A model & B model. The price would rise, but I think exactly the same folk would buy it.

£170 will be the most i've spent on Lego but the Saturn V has given me the bug.

Lander is inbound from Smyths... should just be about complete when the shuttle is 'launched'

I am also expecting a MOC to be available fairly quickly for the SRBs and main tank. Probably a launch tower as well.

I think I've just managed to bag the Flower Bouquet - my brother was after one for his wife so that's a result. They've been OOS forever!

Ahh, that's a shame. Set up the email alert and the second you get it just smash it through the checkout...

You could always buy one off ebay for £60-odd - I suppose it's not that much of a scalping. Just had the order confirmation through - mine was £49 inc delivery although I did get a free 'Easter Chick Egg' freebie with it: https://www.lego.com/en-ae/product/easter-chick-eg...

The PH staff & moderators sometimes get a hard time around here, sometimes deservedly so, but full marks to them for swiftly dealing with the crass ‘joke’.

With the shuttle does anyone know how long it might be around for? I can't quite afford to buy it right now, will it just be gone unless you grab one immediately? Or will it be like the ISS where it's around for ages?

They normally run for a couple of years.

There will be a limited supply of the Ulysses space probe for 1,800 VIP points on release of the shuttle.

When launched it will probably go out of stock quickly, then fluctuate in and out of stock for a while. Bit like the crocodile train did. Stock should become more available as time goes on and like ecsrobin mentioned at least a couple of years before they pull it.

A micro rant here - I was bidding on this set yesterday (60103 air display) and I was winning. A real bargain too and I was winning up until 1 minute to go - I usually watch this and was sniped. I hope this person burns in hell...

The price? £21
