My Architecture 21054 White House has arrived, the box is really big for this series, but with 1483 pieces I guess it's bound to be.

gotta say. I'm very impressed with this series! Oh look, there's room for one more.....Hmmmmm.

ONLY critisism is that the stickers are SO SO small (on all of them) that for us fat fingered old farts it makes them quite tricky to apply. Given that they are display pieces rather than 'toys' if you don't get the alignment quite right it does stand out. They printed all the 'stickers' on the Sian so why can't they on these? Complaint over...

Off topic but, that is a fabulous collection of hip flasks you have!!! You appear to have several glass ones, may I enquire as to where you managed to find them? It's the only sort I really want to add to my much more meagre collection but I can never find one!!!!

Cheers! That shelf is about one third of my collection! The glass ones are great, including an extremely rar cobalt blue glass one, never seen another from that era (mid-late 19th C) with blue glass. Mostly found in car boot sales but some special ones sourced at auctions etc. Might be looking to scale it down if that is of interest to you?

Following on from Louiechevy's rather lovely UCS Falcon, has anyone built the UCS Star Destroyer?
Only the original and it's a knock off, bloody huge but needed Kragle on the hull pieces and engines. Looks fantastic built though, not as good as the new release, but I can't really justify the cost of a set I already have.

Just picked up the Speed Champions Formula E Jaguar set in Sainsbury’s for £14! Looks like they’re having a clear out of old stock.

Not a bad buy!

My nearest Sainsbury's only has a small toy section, but the seocnd nearest has a huge home department so I had a look around the other day.. They'd reduced quite a few but only ones I already had / other stores always stock - F40, F8, Senna etc.

They had the new Elva but I dunno.. it doens't really interest me that much as a design.

On a different topic, is anyone picking up the new Seinfeld apartment set?

Probably a miss for me as I never really watched the show, but I like that they're continuing with these TV sets, I'd be happy to see a few more from other shows..

Not really into the sit-com sets but I just thought an IT Crowd one would be great.
Probably not global enough.

Probably not unfortunately, but there are some really good MOCs for these type of sets, I'm tempted to have a look for some..

got this email direct from Lego yesterday....

This was their website today

Nevermind. Picked up a brand new and sealed one of ebay for the same price literally an hour before the Lego email came through. Arriving Monday.

Anyone built the trainer yet ?

Mine arrived the other day and the box is fantastic. Too good to open. If I’m tempted to build it I will have to buy another!

I bought one for my girlfriend, I'm hoping she builds it today - on another topic, I got the Speed champions jaguar set (£14) and GT R (£9) from Sainsbury's yesterday (for my son's birthday, I already have them smile ) - the Elva was £12 but I didn't want that as I bought that last week
