I thought that might be a good one to pick up when I go to Legoland at the end of the month, but isn't due until next month.

I suspect that £13.49 means it'll be a gift-with-purchase.
Looks like the sort of set you see in proper Lego stores but rarely anywhere else. It's a great looking little build but the price is a little excessive!
I didn't think that was a bad price at around a third cheaper than a Speed Champions set.

Less than half the pieces of a typical SC set though, and this one won't get discounted.

Picked up the new UCS X-Wing, WEC Peugeot and Super Star Destroyer yesterday so got a couple of VIP gifts too. I had enough points that this was virtually “free” (that’s how I’m justifying it). Fun little build, super-micro scale:

Brickclicker on YouTube leaking a 2,000 piece, 200USD Lego Icons Concorde being released in September.

Hope it's true, so much want...

My big X-Wing turned up along with the freebies.
Looking forward to building it, might just move the freebies along, seem to be making fair money on ebay.

My Super Star Destroyer and Speeder Bike diorama turned up, but I'm keeping the freebies. Unless the coin becomes valuable.

The coin is actually quite cool, not really my thing but not a bad little item.

Love these Star Wars diorama builds, although this one has a few repetitive moments. Some nice techniques though!

Enjoyed the Defender. Only comment is that the final accoutrements feel quite flimsy when attached (especially the black frame), and the open tool box is a bit of a liability for losing parts. Had fun though!

Decided to build the mini Death Star and x-wing. They are both quite nice little models.

Finished Rivendell and it's lighting kit tonight..

Would love to have a crack at Titanic but not sure my wife would approve of another huge set in the house!

The Rivendell set is a fantastic build. So many clever building techniques.

I'm not an LotR fan, just wanted to build it as one of the design team was Mike Psiaki who is the king of angles and curves that shouldn't be possible in Lego.

A really enjoyable build.

(PS this review will really ps off Funk...)
