Ok, they really need to stop now. They are releasing models far faster than I can afford (get past the fun police)

I’ve just built my first non technic Lego. Enjoyed it a lot! Speed of Champions Fast and Furious set. Got the Skyline to do as well.

Trying to do it with a six year old who doesn’t like following the instructions when I’m 99% sure I’m autistic who loves following instructions was a challenge however! I didn’t learn and got the John Deere tractor as well to build with him…

I really want the NASA Space Shuttle…once my flat move is sorted it will be a treat to myself.

I am halfway through the Skyline, having already completed the Charger. My tactic is to build mine whilst the kids are building their own models, as they are at an age where they can do 90% of it themselves, but are still liable to leave small bits on the floor etc.

The space shuttle is a fantastic build. Everyone is different, but I much prefer a System build to a Technic build now, even though Technic is how I got back into (and addicted) to Lego a couple of years ago.

I'm the same, though couple of years is more like 10+ for me, got Rivendell waiting both to be built and a space to put it and the Ninjago markets next month is a must buy for me too.

I'd never seen anything about those, so just checked them out, agree, they do nothing for me (unlike the bat cave), in fact they're a bit weird IMO.

I have to buy it. It'll go with the SNES, Atari and sonic that are out on display...

I’ve received two emails from Lego, one today and one yesterday, advertising competitions, yet when I click the link it takes me to the VIP pages and I don’t see any mention of the competitions. Am I missing something?

Dammit, I keep thinking I should get the NES and the Atari too; there was a deal on the Atari about a month ago and I didn't go for it stupidly.

Pacman's deffo on the list for next month.

Edit: Zavvi have the Atari down from £209 to £189 so I've just nabbed one. Not as good as the previous deal which was down to £160 though.

I got the SNES second hand, was an amazing build - the Atari was a Christmas present, but I never saw it as low as £160 anywhere.

My spend has been ridiculous the last few years - add to those, there's ecto1, the Delorean and speed champions. I think I have a real problem hehe

Go into the VIP section and look at the Rewards page. The free to enter draws and competitions etc are normally buried in there.

An absolutely fantastic build for anyone that has not done it yet.

Best use of a 1x2 jumper plate in the history of Lego sets:
