Double VIP so seemed like a good time for Ninjago Markets to make its way into my basket and into the pile of shame.

Used some VIP points so this little lot cost me the grand total of £9 direct from Lego.

Indeed, thanks for sharing that shot, it's the little details in Lego that make it all worth while! roflroflrofl

I do love the little details. The Star Wars reference in the Indiana Jones set my son bought a few weeks back was very cool, and I loved the frog in the big T-Rex set he built a couple of years ago (they had actually planned to put a goat in its belly, but couldn't justify a new mold for something that would never be seen.

What's the Indiana Jones set like? Havoc jr has asked for it for his birthday...wondering if it's worthwhile?

Loved it, unlike anything Lego have released for quite some time really, reminds me of the 'golden age' when it was less licenced stuff and more castle / adventure / Egypt etc.

He's never actually watched Indiana Jones, but he's really into temples, ancient history, treasure hunting sort of stuff, so as soon as these came out he raided his piggy bank.

What is the Star Wars reference?

R2D2 and C3PO appear as hieroglyphics on a pillar. Film accurate apparently, I had no idea it was an Easter Egg (Raiders).

I think that’s a fantastic looking set. The only thing that’s put me off getting it was whether it’s actually a fun build. I’d be interesting to hear your thoughts once you’ve finished it.

My sisi-in-law recently did it - she said some bits are a little fiddly/repetitive ie. all the layered blue blocks but I saw it finished on the weekend and it looks amazing. I'd say that like the repetitive seats on the London Bus, the final result is well worth it.

Has anyone built the McLaren F1 from 76918? I can't get the front 'bonnet' assembly (step 95) to fit correctly.
