Some people on the Facebook group have already had theirs, so it might even be sooner than next week.

So, got the NX-01 home. Its really really nice, definitely the best so far. Really nice sculpt, good size, build quality is good and its the opposite from the 1701 issue due to the amount of detail, its got loads.

Here it is against the other NX-01's in my fleet. The small one at the bottom is the Johnny Lightning version, the top left is the Eaglemoss and the larger one on the right is the Hot Wheels one.

Have you been in touch with them? I know some early subscribers accounts just disappeared entirely.

Ouch, thats some bad luck. I gather they are doing free replacements if you get in contact with them.

Whats the warbird like? Mine hasn't arrived yet.

Thats good to hear, all the contact I've had with them has been positive, and on the Facebook group they seem to be responding to all breakages pretty swiftly.

They've posted some prototype pics of the Bajoran Solar Sailer, which although not my favourite ship, does look good.

Look forward to getting the Warbird.

Yes there's still no sign of my subs copy of 4 & 5 for me.

Will probably pick up and extra issue 5 when it appears in the shops tomorrow.

Still no sign of my subs copy of issue 4 & 5, I'm quite patient but with Voyager out next Thursday its pushing it a little. Will contact them if no sign this week.

Being I'm also impatient at the same time, I picked up a couple of Warbirds in Smiths. Really impressed, love it, shame its based on the DS9 cgi model rather than the physical one from TNG though. Still, looks great.

Shame you still haven't received anything, as your response through the FB pages suggests, they seem pretty eager and efficient in sorting things out when they do go wrong. I emailed at the weekend and had a response first thing this morning to say, like you, that my issue 4 & 5 would be resent with the plaque and it should be here within 10 days.

Some people are expecting their Voyager (Issue 6) and Klingon Battlecruiser (Issue 7) this week, which seems a little premature given some of the shipping issues, personally I'd expect them at next week at the earliest.

As for DS9, its pricey, but worth it I think. I have a Japanese candy toy model made by Rommando (you got each part for it with another small scale trek ship, which were mostly crap and I'm going to ebay) which was roughtly the same scale and it was really impressive to see the station 'in 3d'. Its such a unique design that while I wasn't massively fussed about it on screen, it was just a location, in the plastic and at about the size of a small mixing bowl it looked fantastic. Sadly being made of soft plastic it was a little warped and so was never as good as this EM DS9 looks like it will be.

I've autosubscribed to the specials, hope to god it arrives in one piece!

Looking at the FB page, a fair few received their voyager and D7 today, so some are getting them earlier. I don't care what turns up first, 4&5 or 6&7 as long as I get something and I know that the stuff is going to come to my flat and its just a blip.

Yes its just a collectable but its a fair whack of cash for nothing to show for it, and the worry that the intital delivery was simply lost in the post is a worry, I did the Hatchet Build the Bismarck part works and it always arrived on time and is the same type of setup.

Also the Romulan double hull warbird is my fave alien ship in star trek so kind of want it and I couldn't find any in the local newsagent...though WH-smiths in town may have...and I have to go to town tonight after work...hmmm
Ah I see, nice to hear those issues are turning up early as the Klingon Battlecruiser looks really nice.

Yes, worrying but I doubt these are getting lost in the post, I think the truth of the matter is that they are just missing subscriptions, which is far more worrying than the mishaps of the Royal Mail. The US launch happened earlier this month and I think mine and yours subs just got lost in the ether.

The Warbird is really nice, really good model of it. I checked a nearby WHSmith at the end of the last week and those ones I picked up last Tuesday were the sum total of my towns stock. I don't know if the Smiths are winding down what they are ordering, or this line is really selling. According to comments from EM they are very happy with the demand.

Going to have a nose of the Facebook page, I'm curious to see what the production Intrepid class looks like as the promo shots weren't particularly amazing, one of my favourite designs though.

Just thinking, should I have received issue three in my first delivery? Did anyone else?
I subscribed before the launch date, so the way its worked so far (or not) has been.

Issue 1 delivery on its own.

Issue 2 & 3 came together.

Issue 4 & 5 should have come together but have gone awol. Replacements on the way.

Issue 6 & 7 should come together.

Reading comments on the FB group it looks like people who subbed after the launch have received them in odd lots, or like some people on here, haven't had anything at all!

BTW, glad you found the Warbird Rick, I have a feeling WHSmiths are getting just a few per store now. I'm going on a Voyager hunt on Thursday.

Yeah I was looking at the pics of 6 & 7 on Facebook last night (can't see them on the FB iOS app for some reason).

Voyager looks better than the proto shots made out. Its one of my fav designs so nice to see the shape done correctly unlike almost every other small model of it (there have only been two to my knowledge; Furuta & Johnny Lightning).

The Klingon Battlecruiser looks really nice in pics, only worrying thing, the neck is plastic and lots of reports of bent ones. As an aside, there is a huge amount of complaining about the paint, or lack of it. Personally it looks fine to me in the pics, but I'll wait and see when they get here, if they get here.

Theres 30 or so in the first confirmed list, 70 overall in a longer but unconfirmed list, but like you say they'll keep making them until we stop buying/they run out of ships.

Judging by sales so far I'm pretty confident we'll definately see the first 30.

Got a couple of Voyagers today, WHSmith in the large westfield style shopping centre (big WHSmith) had about 6 in stock.

Have only had a quick look, but the shape and scale are spot on, best version of Voyager I've ever seen, in that respect its really nice.

Downsides, some blindingly obvious detail has been missed, the shuttlebay area is devoid of detail on the doors, and its actually wrong compared with the physical and cgi model. I guess its minor as overall its really nice, but when the NX-01 was so damn good, why can't Voyager have matched it.

Being the best small scale Voyager I've ever seen counts for something though, so gets a massive thumbs up from me.

Regarding the online magazine, sorry, no idea, haven't tried it yet.

Yep, still no sign of my 4 & 5 or 6 & 7 yet.

Glad I picked up a few Voyagers from Smiths, friends have been struggling to find stock everywhere so they are getting harder to find.

My issue 4 & 5 + 1701-D comissioning plaque turned up today, only downside is, the NX-01's pylons are warped/bent.

He he, we spend more time talking about deliveries than the ships don't we. Shame as they got off to an excellent start (for me anyway).

I'm hoping my 6 & 7 are on the way as issue 7 comes out in the shops on Thursday.

We are edging closer to the Defiant issue, really looking forward to that one.

My 6 & 7 turned up yesterday, so other than DS9 I am finally all caught up.

Klingon Battlecruiser is nice, although suffers from bendy neck (mine isn't too bad).

Issue 8 in shops this coming Thursday, as is the £18.99 Deep Space Nine Special (if WHSmith carry it, its rather big compared with the model ships).

More excitingly for subscribers, our shipments have started going out, so this week (if we're lucky) we'll be receiving the DS9 special, Issue 8 (Excellsior), Issue 9 (Defiant) and the subs gift of the future Ent-D. Not a bad lot, especially excited by the Defiant.

They dispatch from Coventry according to the box, so those around the Midlands seem to get them earlier than expected.

Yep, you aren't the only one, missing issues seems to be an, er, issue.

Until I flagged up that 6 & 7 were missing I'd had nothing, as soon as I did though a week or two later they arrived.

Borg cube isn't due with us just yet. I forget the exact shipping date, but its the last of the subs freebies to arrive.

Annoying you haven't got Issue 3.

My package arrived first thing this morning, so only had a quick rummage through...

Firstly, the DS9 special is really good, mostly metal, comes in a sturdy box that protects it well, its certainly on first inspection well worth £17.99 (or £18.99 in shops).

Issue 8, the Excelsior, paints good, its very small (but being a long ship it would scale down as being small if in line with the others) and mine is very very bent, nacelles are way out. Also, the sculpt is easily the worst so far, the secondary hill is wrong, although the saucer is fine.

Issue 9, the Defiant, again, good paint application, feels really chunky and a good size, only things I'm not sure on are the build, mine has massive panel gaps and despite being chunky, it actually feels flimsy, parts creak and the fit and finish is easily the worst of the whole line. I'm afraid I think I'd got a Friday afternoon one. The nose of the ship is very loose and will break off very very easily.

And lastly the Future Ennterprise D subs special, I'm not a massive fan of the design but as a model its very good, as good as the Issue 1 Ent-D, as you'd expect.

So a mixed bag, I reacon the Defiant would be a total hit for me, as the sculpt is brilliant, but I've been unlucky this time around, I've no idea how they've made such a chunky solid ship feel like its about to break, but there you go, hopefully the rest of you will fare better. The Excelsior is sloppy and feels small and is the first of the line that I've thought, hmm, thats not worth £9.99.

Maybe as the line has gone on my expectations have risen given just how brilliant issues like the NX-01 and Romulan Warbird were.

DS9 though, brilliant. Such a nice job.
