Hmmm looking at the old one I'm starting to think I've got enough bits in my old lego boxes to make that.
Older one looks so much better too.

Another to add to the collection, it's a Yile Mini this time. No missing pieces, everything fit very well, only the white roof pieces being thinner and showing the studs underneath tell you it's not Lego. Really impressed with this one, especially for the price.

I'm not sure which brand I have, but I'm building it slowly with my 4 year old.

I bought this set as well and really liked it. I liked it so much that I'm thinking about buying another to make the Porsche 911 that can be made from the same set.

Hold on, you can make a 911 from the Mini set?

Can you link to the instructions please?

The instructions are for sale through rebrickable.

https://rebrickable.com/users/buildme/mocs/

The same guy has done a Golf Clipper and some other interesting stuff with the same set.

just ordered the lepin ghostbusters fire station

whats annoying is the original ecto 1 is Lego only and costs 50% of the lepin building

it'll all look nice though

JJ
you will need to replace the large size base plate as the lepin one comers with a super thick one and offsets everything.

Haven’t been on site for a while but was good to read their what I’d missed and to see what everyone has been buying/building.

I did decide to go for an original 75192 Falcon. For a few reason, after cash back and Lego VIP points it works out as about £100cheaoer, plus I’ll get the black VIP card that will be a nice addition and it’s unlikely to lose value....in fact I’ve been offered £850 for it so far but have resisted temptation to part with it just yet ...... but as we get nearer to Christmas and if some crazy person offers me even more I might have to bite, after all they’ll be back in stock next year sometime and I am really in no hurry to build it at all

Haven’t actually built anything in an age as in truth I’ve got nowhere else to display right now.

Also bought myself a Lego BB8 back on Force Friday so the triple points from that went towards the Falcon purchase.

Loving it in white and with the leds, wish I’d seen those before now... now you’re finished maybe you can help me?

I’m about 3/4 of the way through mine but have noticed that the gear shift does not work? I’ve been back through the instructions but can’t see anything I’ve missed, the shift mechanism works if I stick my finger in and spin the yellow cog thing but not from the paddles, they don’t seem to connect with the lower yellow cog? have I missed something or is there a step to come that will fix it?

Has anyone heard any news of the lawsuit in China that was supposed to be last month in September?

It arrived. Working from home so have only opened the box so far. I am impressed with the guys packing ability. The box looked way too small, but having opened it I think it's probably all there. Will start the build tonight.

I ordered the Decool Porsche (Orange) on Ali but my seller sent the Lepin version and now after raising a dispute, says that he will refund the entire amount (including shipping) if I send it back to China.
I am hoping that we can rather work out a partial refund type of solution.

What do the forum members advise on keeping Lepin Porsche versus jumping the hoops for a Decool version?

Up to you, but all that faffing about sending it back and waiting again ? My Lepin White one was a smooth build, all fitted fine and looks great, (Haven't seen the Decool in the fresh so can't comment on that ). I think you'd never notice once it's build and collecting dust who made it really as the copy's are so good , Your Manual looks better than mine too as it's the Orange body !.

Agree on the Packing , The Lepin Christmas Train turned up yesterday , tipped the bags out the box for a sneeky peek ready for the weekend build . ...Could i get it back in ? . like fk i could ! . had to find a bigger box twice the size ,

Many thanks for replying... I too am not keen on returning. Some questions:
a) Was the Lepin model having smooth movement - some earlier posters seem to have noted that gear movement is a problem for Lepin;
b) How many bags did you get? I got 42 numbered bags (including 1 resealable bag for larger pieces) and 1 small bag with rubber bands.
c) Since your set too is a Lepin, how did you start opening the bags - by number or what sequence (the Lepin bags do not seem to have any direct corelation to instructions).

Thanks for clearing the air for me.

A) Mine seems to shift ok , tried it a few times , it's only a display model for me though so not bothered if didn't anyway.

B) Didn't count them but remembered there's a lot's of them .

C) I just chucked them all the table .... then got lots of chinese containers and put colours/big/small into each

D) Enjoy and chill out smile

I'd buy that one if you can get a partial refund and do me a good price? I assume they all look the same from a foot or so away?
